@NASAArtemis @johnkrausphotos As cool as this all is , I can’t get over how outdated everything looks. Every video / picture from this trip could’ve been from 30 years ago and no one would’ve noticed any difference

Artemis II just hit the "two thirds" mark of the journey to the Moon. During Flight Day 4, the astronauts aboard Orion went over plans to study the Moon during their upcoming lunar flyby and are currently practicing manually controlling the spacecraft.

"if it's such a great project why isn't the private sector financing it?" Why is this question valid for a train but never ever used for a road or a bridge?

@NationalRoast We also must give a land acknowledgement to the moon, the United States was there first so with this reasoning, they own it. Every time a Canadian goes there we must give thanks and repositions to the United States

@DaniAlexMusic @AaronGunn So you agree, the entire argument is that we’re paying more for fuel than United States. Why? The argument is, we are being taxed higher per litre, at a time when Canadians are already being squeezed. There’s no reason we should be paying more per litre than the United States

@AaronGunn Oil is a global commodity sold on a global market. It really doesn’t matter how much oil we have any disruption to oil will make prices go up. We live under capitalism other countries desperate for oil will pay a pretty penny for it. It will go there before it gets to us

Ridiculous. 4th-largest oil reserves in the world. $2.09 per litre at the pumps. It's time to build pipelines, refineries and an energy policy that puts Canada, and Canadians, first! 🇨🇦

@AaronGunn Imagine visiting any country in the world, going for a hike in the countryside and finding a 1 ounce gold nugget. That gold nugget is worth the same all over the planet. Same principles apply to oil.

@AaronGunn Every time you post about this it makes you look even dumber. It's like you've only got two brain cells and they're fighting for third place. Are you huffing the gas, is that why you're mad? THE PRICE IS GLOBAL.

@AaronGunn Ok, enough. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK YOU HAVE. OIL PRICES AND GAS PRICES ARE DETERMINED BY THE GLOBAL MARKET. EDUCATED YOURSELVES PLEASE!!! THESE POSTS A FREAKIN ANNOYING.

@AaronGunn Ridiculous that anyone would believe the price of gas would drop if there were more pipelines. Being energy independent doesn't shield you from market forces. Just ask Norway, the country Alberta separatists aspire to be. Here is the price of gas today in USD

This argument sounds good but ignores basic economics. Oil isn’t ‘Canadian priced’ it’s globally priced. More pipelines don’t magically override world markets. You’d still pay close to the same at the pump. High prices are driven by taxes, refining limits, and global crude not a lack of drilling slogans.

Doesn’t work like that. Oil and gas is a global market. Alberta and all over Canada already has refineries, but the price isn’t determined by what Alberta has or doesn’t. Prices unfortunately determined by the industry and whatever the stations want to inflate it to. @grok can confirm.

Aaron just stop ... this point is STUPID and it makes YOU look stupid ... Gas prices are set by the GLOBAL market, Carney is not responsible and building a new pipeline wouldn't do a damn thing to drop prices ... just because PP is a dipshit doesn't mean you have to follow him down the crazy train

@JeffreyLuscombe On the contrary, I love it, but it sure is not worth $8000 to me, considering my family will never use it. If you’d like to pay my wife’s and my share. Of $8000. Then by all means, go build your cool train

@blueskykites That’s a lot of work, expense and ridiculous looking for a couple percentage of charge over the entire day. On a cyber truck that would be about 2% charge

@csa_asc I know it’s amazing. They let a Canadian go, just as they let a black person & a woman go as well…. Wow, I thought we hated the United States though, but isn’t this all happening because of the United States? I’m confused, I don’t know who to hate anymore
