bro healers not having kick is a good thing, you're not gonna stop people from griefing your keys no matter how much perceived agency you collect ALSO, kicks being removed is the absolute opposite of dumbing down a spec.. - its a straight blessing of freedom to potentially do other, more substantial things, to keep people alive the game is infinitely smoother when dealing with obstacles in ways that fit your spec, rather than being dumbed down to just another kick

Yes, they will die, but the point is that you don't lose anything when they do, not even "annoyance" in re-summoning them. Having 3 "free" (still costs the gem slots) auras active for 40% of a map is valuable

@NeverSinkDev How do you stop the spectres from just dying 5 seconds into the map if you aren't invested into minion life and ect? They respawn PER ZONE, so meaning it'll work like AG does right? If they die in the map that's it for them til next map?

This is way more than QOL. If you can fit the 1-3 gems, this allows many builds to reliably run expensive ritual spectres for additional benefits (similar to AG buff last league). On top of that this turbo charges Week1 ritual and nerfs it in weeks 3+ Exciting either way.

@GhazzyTV Tbh, I might be the odd one out but I think them not being desecratable is cool, and way less annoying than an AG cause it's just one item to buy. 100% agree with you on situations where you unsummon by accident though, but if they found a fix for that I like the idea a lot

Minions are getting some absolutely insane love in 3.23, however, the resummoning process of the vendor corpses is atrociously not being able to be desecrated. Problem with this is that new(er) players might accidentally weapon-swap, oil their amulet or change gear that has the risk of making them unable to sustain the attributes in their spectre gem-links. When a mistake like that happens the spectres are straight up de-summoned. Now the statement was that it would be cool "if they cost several divines". Sure, it would be cool, but try convincing your regular casual andy that it was cool when he just lost several divines worth of spectres and now can't afford to bring them back rendering his build useless. Luckily, builds such as the Zoomancer can power through a mistake like that but a pure spectre build which we were only able to properly play during Crucible (thanks to Forged Frostbearers) was rendered unplayable till this change but runs the risk of being extremely detrimental to the playerbase. I do want to point out that it's not just the casuals, I've played PoE for almost a decade now and I still, do this day, make mistakes that de-summons my spectres. Also important to point out that making them able to be desecrated would counter the niche idea of buying corpses from a vendor. Problem is that there currently is no reasonable middle-ground that wouldn't involve @pathofexile investing actual money/dev-time to fix. So unless they are willing to do so I would strongly argue that the lesser of 2 evils is to make them able to be desecrated. I've said it multiple times and will say it again; A complete rework of how Spectres and Animate Guardian is summoned/dealt with is way past due. It's 2023, it's been asked for since the dawn of time.
