#Powercut Some people think a government can fix power cuts in just 2 weeks. Power management doesn’t work like flipping a switch overnight.
When demand is at record highs, poor maintenance of the grid, overloaded transformers, aging substations, weak transmission infrastructure and years of neglected upgrades start showing up. These are structural issues built over years, not days.
What the ministry can do now is release a detailed white paper , explaining the actual condition of the power sector, current generation capacity, demand-supply gap, grid health, interim measures being taken to manage shortages, and the long-term infrastructure plan to stabilize the system.
People deserve transparency and a realistic roadmap by the ministry @CTR_Nirmalkumar & @TVKVijayHQ #TVK #Vijay & not political drama over decades-old problems which D stocks will obviously do .

Punjab government will strictly follow in letter and spirit the Supreme Court order given on 19th May 2026. As per the SC orders, we will: - Remove stray dogs from all high footfall public spaces so that children, senior citizens and families can move freely without fearing for their safety. We will create and maintain adequate number of dog shelters where these stray dogs can be cared for properly. - Take legally permissible measures, including euthanasia, in cases involving rabid, incurably ill or demonstrably dangerous and aggressive dogs posing a threat to human life, strictly in accordance with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the ABC Rules.

How mighty have fallen!
When a weakened opposition DMK runs out of answers, it manufactures outrage.
Artificial power cuts. Dress code drama.Turkey towel on chair, Vande Mataram controversies.
Noise. Distraction. Diversion.
But the people are no longer distracted.
Because real life is hitting harder than political theatre!
Unemployment crushing youth,
Corruption draining hope,
Rising costs suffocating families,
And parents wondering what future is left for their children.
Tamil Nadu is not asking for staged debates anymore.
It is asking for dignity, opportunity, honesty, and change.

All new constructions right on the Bessy beach sands, so close to the sea behind the Arupadai Murugan temple! Locals say that these constructions took full speed immediately after the elections results on May 4th. They allege that the pattern is to start as a hut and quickly convert to concrete structures. As @AishRavi64 mentions, similar efforts were stopped by @chennaicorp back in 2024 after reported in the media @THChennai and @TOIChennai. At that time only one house was there on this spot (painted one in these pics). How come GCC is watching such illegal constructions on the same spot in the beach silently now? Will the officials do their duty only after escalation through media? Suddenly seeing people raise power-cut issues but if we look at it, almost every summer there are electricity issues because everyone uses ACs and fans continuously which increases the load on the system. Even I faced power issues last year too.
My main question is: Is this really something new that we are experiencing or is it being over-exaggerated ❓🤔
