Just to set the record straight: 1⃣Israel doesn't have 2 million Arab citizens. It has 2 million Arab residents, but of these, 360,000 (East Jerusalem Arabs) don't have the right to Israeli citizenship, to vote for the Knesset or even to permanently reside in the city of their birth (image #1 below), while an American Jew who immigrates to Jerusalem gets citizenship on the spot, in a blatant case of apartheid. 2⃣Arabs are in fact barred from certain places because of their religion or ethnicity. There's no reason Palestinian refugees shouldn't have the same right with regard to Israel. 5⃣The argument that "If Israel absorbed every Palestinian refugee and their descendants, it would cease to exist as a Jewish state" precisely proves the illegitimacy of the idea of a Jewish state: it can only be kept as such through injustice. But it's also false: in fact, there are more Jews than the sum of Israeli Arabs + possible returnees; and, contrary to popular belief, Jews have a higher birthrate than Arabs thanks to the Haredim.
