But over the next few years, I think it could completely change how global farming and food trade work. And honestly, many people still don’t realize how big this shift actually is. 〰️〰️〰️ ▪️Farming Is No Longer Just About Growing Crops For a long time, agriculture mostly focused on one thing: Production. Grow more coffee. Produce more cocoa. Export more palm oil. That was the main goal. But now, things are changing fast. Today, buyers and governments increasingly want to know much more than just what is being sold. They want to know: - Where exactly was it grown? - Was deforestation involved? - Can the origin be verified? - Is the supply chain transparent? - Is the data trustworthy? This is where EUDR enters the picture. --- So What Is EUDR? The European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is basically pushing companies to prove that certain agricultural products are not linked to deforestation. That sounds simple at first.
