Janab, the Birthplace of Sikhism, is Sultanpur Lodhi in the present-day Kapurthala district of Punjab, now called East Punjab. Nankana Sahib is the birthplace of Guru Nanak Sahib. BJP has added a new tadka to Punjab politics by appointing former Congress MLA and senior Sikh leader Kewal Singh Dhillon as Punjab BJP president. But is this a routine change, or BJP’s new recipe for 2027? Punjab politics is not instant noodles.
