So was VAR really invented so football can be rigged , because let’s be honest it was a much more fun and exciting game before . yes they got decisions wrong but that’s life . what we are witnessing is match fixing basically .

If you weren’t in the stadium, don’t talk about the atmosphere or experience as if you were. It was a massive moment for both clubs, Arsenal fighting for the title, West Ham fighting for survival. And for the record, yes, it’s a foul on Raya. I’ve never said otherwise. The issue is that it’s one of many fouls in the box in that exact moment, and one of countless fouls you see every single weekend that usually get ignored. Yesterday it was given. Other weeks it isn’t. That inconsistency is what feels wrong. If we can’t agree on that fundamental point, we’ll never agree on football. Inside the stadium, nobody had a clue what was going on. Football is about emotion. It’s about chaos, last minute goals, moments that make the ground explode. The problem isn’t that the goal was ruled out, it’s the endless delays, the inconsistency, and the feeling that nobody really knows what is or isn’t allowed anymore. @charles_watts It wasn’t a great use of var. the goal was rightly ruled out but it should have been a penalty to West Ham. Var rules state you go back to the first offence. Pablo was fouled twice before he got to Raya. Rice also fouls mavro before that

Charles come on. You know it’s not about that single decision. That decision was right, we all know it. It’s about the fact Arsenal have done it in every single game this season and made much of it an unwatchable procession. Hiding behind this ‘headloss’ and ‘everybody hates Arsenal’ nonsense like everybody of an Arsenal persuasion is doing is perpetuating something that doesn’t exist. There’s no bias against Arsenal, most neutrals and non-neutrals want Arsenal to win it over City (I’m in that category) but this season has seen an all-time low in refereeing standards. To see such an important game decided on such an event, for five minutes to be taken on something that’s meant to be clear and obvious, only to arrive at a completely contradictory conclusion to how most of this season has been officiated.. that’s a disaster for the league, isn’t it? Especially on top of the 115 farce.
