Last week Rekt Brands Inc became one of the first companies to grant shares to NFT holders. We gifted Rektguys, a free mint from April 2022, equity in @RektBrands based on a snapshot taken in October 2023. @RektguyNFT started out as a personal passion project, but it took off far greater than I ever really expected, and I do think there is a huge opportunity in building the Rekt Brand. In doing that, we gotta think bigger than just a pfp project...maybe NFTs come back idk but I think there's a lot of cool things we can do with the Rekt IP, starting with @RektDrinks. The idea behind gifting equity was to bring our supporters along for the ride. Our mantra has always been to find creative ways to give back to supporters, even if you have to pivot. Big thanks to @GencoLaw and @Dealmakertech for being instrumental in making this happen, I'm happy to make intros if other projects are looking to do the same. I feel like we now have incentives aligned and we can go out there and do some cool shit. We've actually been working on a lot this year, all behind the scenes; I'm pretty pumped to roll it out.

rektguy – a thread (not really, a long form post actually) It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a rektguy thread, so felt it was necessary to put one together. Not to mention, Patron has been on me to do this for awhile haha. The current state of rektguy and our community feels great actually. Discord has been very active and the memes have been tippy top quality (though many attack me directly lmao). Our community is very active on X and rektguy pfps are everywhere. Our founders continue to accrue more rektguys with the revenues that are brought in through OS Fart (OSF art) and any royalties. This is something I believe some could overlook. They continue to add rektguys to their vault and these are being locked up long term, reducing the float. This is good I think. Also, they plan to leave this to me in their will (don’t look at the actual post or read any comments below this one. We continue to see people pick up rektguys above floor, finding the traits they like best – this is collecting art, not speculating. I’ve always viewed rektguy this way. I’m collecting art. Is price go up cool? Yup – but ultimately for me, I just like the art. If we go to 0 that’s even better as we are more rekt. rekt seltzer: The founders have put together a super clean and well branded non alcoholic drink (I’ll mix mine with gin or tequila). The branding is super clean on this and I can see it scaling if done right. Does this drive revenue to rektguy holders? Nope. Are they going to use revenue to support rektguy? Yeah, I think so. The founders: OSF and Mando are visible daily on the FOMO Show (Rug Radio). Mando releases Mando Minutes daily (huge reach on X and a growing newsletter subscriber base). OSF has a daily market update. Alienqueen is constantly dropping top quality art and also has a massive fan base. My thoughts – as people begin to come back or join the NFT space they are going to see these three every day… how could this impact the rektguy ecosystem? Just a thought. Value in community: The divebar is very welcoming. We make fun of each other like best friends that have known each other for years. We help each other with investing strategies, share information, share art, and support all around. It’s a large, but very tight group consisting of people with diverse backgrounds, many of which include Tradfi experience (this is valuable imo). The meme: down bad but never dead. rekt. It applies to literally everyone. Everyone has been rekt. Most everyone has been utterly rekt and made a comeback. We hit the bottom, we are fucked, but somehow we survive and are better for it. This is a universal meme with the potential to be everywhere. My dms are open for anyone with questions. rektguy is good
