I’m signing off as one of the social media voices for @HCLEMuseum. You fine folks taught me a lot about museums, archives, & education (#EdTech). I’ve enjoyed sharing your content. I’m more verbose as Tom Trimbath (@tetrimbath). I’ll drop by occasionally, and hope you will, too.

Recently scored a deal on a full set of Atarisoft carts for the TI 99/4A! Some nice ports of classic games there! (Also a few lousy ports, looking at you, Pole Position!)

Time to use those floppy disks I won as a prize at #a2kfest "For governmental and educational use only"... well I must admit this whole project has been very educational.

Personal Computer retailers of the early 1980s are also part of computer history. They have their own stories. Although local, this may be of interest to others further afield, if only to contrast it to their own experiences. classic-computers.org.nz/blog/2018-08-2…

The only legal way to play 99.9% of video game history is to use antique hardware. It's the equivalent of saying that the only way to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's is to use an old VCR, the only way to read Sherlock Holmes in its original19th century magazines.
