It was legitimate to ask if Max took any lessons from that, after those points were missing bitterly at the end.

Journalists need to be free to ask whatever they want. Uncomfortable questions are essential. The moment you let teams or drivers control journalists’ behaviour, is when independence and credibility vanishes. Viewers want honest questions and honest answers. Not propaganda.

When I say drivers have the tools and training to answer difficult questions this is what I mean. They get asked bait questions weekly. The ability to deflect from being baited is an essential skill. Its to their detriment if they dont learn to handle people less adversiallly.

This is how you deal with a journalist question that you feel is stupid, not forcing them out of the room

@WhingerSpice He asked a question that had nothing investigative. He asked things that have obvious answers, especially from Max. So the only reason to ask them is to get a reaction out of Max.

The reporter tried to investigate by asking questions. It turned into a gotcha when you had a tantrum about it. And when you, all by yourself, brought it up again months later. Self-gotcha (those are rare).
