Today, we mark Nowruz, the start of a new year for Persian communities in Ontario and around the world. This year, many Iranians enter the new year with heavy hearts, while remaining optimistic for a free and democratic Iran. Nowruz remains a symbol of resilience, strength and hope for better days ahead. Nowruz Pirooz.

Happy Norooz 🌿✨ Norooz, meaning “new day,” marks the Persian New Year and the arrival of spring a moment when nature resets and life begins again. Celebrated for over 3,000 years, it’s rooted in renewal, growth, and the balance between light and darkness. At the heart of Norooz is the Haft-Seen table, where seven symbolic items represent hopes for the year ahead rebirth, love, health, patience, wisdom, and prosperity. It’s a time to reflect on the past, reconnect with loved ones, and step into a fresh chapter with intention. More than just a celebration, Norooz is a reminder that no matter how long the winter feels, spring always comes and with it, a new beginning. Wishing you a year filled with growth, abundance, and new opportunities. 🌱✨

من صمیمانه عید نوروز را به مردم ایران و همه کسانی که امروز این عید را جشن می‌گیرند، تبریک می‌گویم. اوکراین برای مردم ایران آرزوی آزادی و امنیت واقعی دارد. با خلاص شدن از این رژیم وحشتناک تروریستی، ایران می‌تواند به جامعه‌ای صلح‌آمیز و شکوفا تبدیل شود، همان‌گونه که قبلاً بوده است. بنابراین مهم است که پس از این جنگ، عدالت و بازسازی برای مردم ایران و کل منطقه محقق شود. اوکراینی‌ها به یاد دارند که رژیم فعلی تهران همدست روسیه است. این دو رژیم جنایتکار در شرارت و اعتقادات خود برادرند، بنابراین زندگی قطعاً باید پیروز شود. امیدوارم که امسال سال پیروزی زندگی، خوشبختی و بازگشت به صلح باشد.
