we're working on a new photo search engine called Angles. it's focused on doing one thing well: finding photos + videos by visual similarity.
here is raw, unedited footage of me going through my 80,000 photo camera roll *in realtime* with text-to-image search, image-to-image search, "find similar" inside of a photo, and "live search" with the camera. all done with local models and completely private. auto-growing albums coming soon :-)
Angles has been exceptionally useful for my friends who do creative work. when words fail to describe what you are looking for, you can simply tap on any asset and instantly see everything else like it across your entire library.

i haven’t made a sports video since december after doing it almost daily for 7–8 years. because i became genuinely obsessed with these tools and spent hundreds of hours learning and building with them

Today was a new one in terms of ROI though
I built a customized AI chatbot / data analyst for our AI VP of Marketing
It totally rocks. Ask it what campaigns to run, how we are doing this year vs. last year, where to go harder, who should do what, etc. It has all our data from the last 5+ years and rocks with its answers. It is better than 95%+ of the products we could buy. Maybe 98%.
And it honestly, truly worked …
- from a single, simple prompt
- that cost $0.20
- and took less than one minute to build.

I added an AI chatbot to our AI VP of Marketing today to talk directly to it It really works great It is better than 98% of products we could buy. Cost? $0.20 on @Replit and took 25 seconds I didn't even have to "hop on a call" with a sales rep. This is many things, including software disruption, and deflation, in action.

@MichieltheKing @Replit Hey Michiel, your projects are private by default on the Core plan unless you publish them.
When you say private are you referring to the deployed version as well?

My biggest feature request for @Replit would be to add the private builds on the $20 plan. I don't want to be dependent on a $100 plan forever to keep my project safe from copycats. Hence I now just build new projects with Claude Code and bypass Replit all together.

We used to design & code together but now it feels faster to just prompt.
But why not prompt together?
Well, that’s a hard problem. Who’s prompt go first? What if they’re conflicting? How do you merge?
Agent 4 fixes this.

Hey Sam, I’ve run dozens of internal AI hackathons for companies of different sizes.
Biggest realizations I seen leaders discover is:
- It’s not “one size fits alls”. Not everyone is going to like, or be able to use, the same tool (I’m biased but there is one tool with the best coverage that nontechnical and technical folks both like)
- Committing to a 1-2 hr hackathon for everyone + highlighting the stellar examples at the end works wonders for adoption

How is everyone getting team adoption for Claude?
I spent a lot of time on Twitter, as do you. We see all this AI stuff popping up. We're on top of it, or at least sorta. I know what's going on and are testing all these fringe ideas.
But how are all you people getting your team to actually use it effectively without spending all their time on Twitter and learning, which we know they won't and probably shouldn't be?
