@matthewwinick That’s moving the goal posts, a practice player of any kind isn’t making an impact on next year, regardless of Burton’s health. Sure, they are counting on him staying healthy, but there are 3 guys in front of Monden who would replace Burton at PG (Lindsay, Moody, Mustaf).

Out of 2920 qualified players, Justin Monden finished 2890 in RAPM + WARP%. He was one of the 50 worst rotation players in DI last year. Even as an end-of-bench guy, I just do not understand this move for Indiana.

NEWS: Maryland Eastern Shore transfer Justin Monden has committed to Indiana, his agent Lenny Minaya of @fdmathletics_ told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot guard played one season at UMES after playing two at Georgia Southwestern State. He averaged 6.0PPG, 1.6APG and 1.2RPG this season.
