what I did during my college years: but before that, a bit of backstory: i am a dropper and yet opted for a dual degree at BITS Pilani although i was getting CSE at the best clgs of Karnataka, i didn't wanna follow the conventional route and explore more of my interests, hence opted for a dual degree in economics at BITS Goa. 1st year: pretty much just surviving and adjusting to a new phase of life and concentrating more on acads, 1st semester was great but had an insane downfall in 2nd semester due to some personal issues, ended up getting EEE as my dual degree (if i could go back in time and change it, i would opt Mech or Chemical) 2nd year: started studying economics for the first time and honestly it was love at first sight, ended up stumbling upon stock markets, call it fate or luck, started fucking around a lottt and again, it was love at first sight for me with the intersection of economics and finance, that's when i decided i would dedicate my life entirely for finance and nothing else. 3rd year: was just surviving my dual degree, handling two of the toughest degrees together, what a torturous year that was. 4th year: delved deeper into stock markets, did a couple of finance related projects under profs, made nicee amounts of profits by just investing, 1st semester was honestly my best semester and the most awaited comeback happened, cut to 2nd semester, gave my first interview wayy back in February and after 2 months and 6 consecutive rejections, here I am still hopeful about life. just keep working towards what you love, no matter what, been over 2.5 years in the stock market for me. it's been a longg 4 years at BITS Goa, but now that I look back, the torture of my dual degree and then landing a job on the most random Thursday, genuinely the best feeling. IT DOES WORK OUT IN THE END. 🫶🫶
