How tf are Base AI agents supposed to compete with Solana? I bought my first AI Agent coin on Base today, 3/10 experience I have to buy the Virtuals token first, then swap that for the AI Agent token The UI is not good Trading experience is terrible The only advantage is the agents page is way easier to navigate and explore than the vvaifu page So I guess it's a bet that you buy the agents now and hope the trading experience gets better?? Happy to hear other takes - I'm definitely not the expert here but at first glance this was not good lol

Got asked on my thoughts on AI coins yesterday in a gc, whether we're near a top, if i'm bullish or bearish on individual agents opr the sector at large, etc. My thoughts: If we extrapolate a bit, I’m basically bearish everything in 6-12 months, even the best AI agents are gonna drop 95% imo Think treating them as memecoins is the best approach. They are excellent at generating attention and mindshare and having ppl build cult like followings around them, and to me that means the whole sector goes up a lot more before the inevitable crash In 2021 every team (and company it seemed) pivoted to NFTs, obv it was a bad idea for them and they basically all went to 0 but silly season lasted basically from late 2020 to April 2022 "NFTs are the future!" "NFTs are a new paradigm!" "Every company in the world will use NFTs!" "AI Agents are the future!" "AI Agents are a new paradigm!" "Every company in the world will use AI Agents!" To be clear - I believe both, still! I think NFTs are the future, and AI Agents are the future. I still think though that almost every AI agent with a token associated with it crashes 95%+ at some point in the next 12 months (potenially a little longer). Where are we in the cycle? Obv no idea, but I think we're still early enough that I am comfortable being extremely risk-on and holding infinite AI agent tokens hoping/waiting for more madness. I am taking profit, but not aggressively. Mentally, I have written off my bags to 0 and am trying hard every day to imagine them crashing, because I know how possible it is. But I remain short-medium term giga bullish AI agents, and coins associated with them. Think they're likely one of the major defining narratives of this whole cycle.
