The Cancellation of Chavez is absurd in the details. Photographers are talking about how they'll remove any pictures of him on exhibits about Farmer Unionization. You do not suddenly get to pretend he wasn't the face of the movement and not let the audience grapple with major questions about how such a monster was protected by a movement supposedly about justice. Cowardice framed as accountability is not to be celebrated.

And the funny thing is we're not even losing, it just has 29% approval because Trump never even attempted to give a rationale for it and he ignored the generals who warned Iran would respond in the most obvious way possible.

@dmesg @agraybee @OctopusIllusion The strikes were proposed during the Lewinsky affair, in 1998. He did strike a dual use factory. Taking out UBL then (and several hundred fighters). KSM (9/11 mastered) wasn't in a leadership position until '99

I have no doubt that HRC would have done a superior job at both the messaging and conflict. But my party lost the stomach for it
