In New York I met with @AntonioGuterres to discuss Russia’s aggression against #Ukraine, a grave violation of the @UN Charter. On #Gaza, I underlined the urgent need for a #ceasefire and a rapid & unimpeded passage of humanitarian aid.

I am deeply saddened by reports of Alexey @Navalny’s death. #Navalny believed in a free, open & democratic Russia. Over the years he has been poisoned, silenced and mistreated in isolated custody in 🇷🇺. My thoughts today are with his family and all political prisoners in #Russia.

Very impressive first project visits in Lao PDR today🇱🇦. Luxembourg's Development Cooperation is actively supporting the Lao government in clearing its land of unexploded ordnance and in strengthening its hospitality and tourism sector through a dedicated hotel school.

It was a real pleasure to meet the beneficiaries of several projects supported by Luxembourg in Lao PDR & to hear about their experiences. Seeing the results and the positive impact of these projects on the local population is a great achievement that makes me very proud 🙏🏼
