I extend my full solidarity to Romania following the Russian drone strike that hit its territory last night. Russia has chosen to escalate its war of aggression against Ukraine, using increasingly powerful weapons against civilian populations and posing a serious threat to neighboring countries that are members of the European Union. A line has been crossed. We must remain uncompromising toward the Kremlin, strengthen our sanctions policy, and increase our support for Kyiv to ensure the security of Europe as a whole.

Full solidarity and support to Romania following the crash of a Russian drone on a residential building in Galați, injuring civilians. Russia’s escalation on EU territory is reckless and irresponsible. I condemn in the strongest terms this violation of Romania’s national airspace and of international law. The EU is united in stepping up pressure on Russia through sanctions and strengthening defence capabilities, in particular along our Eastern border.

Russia’s war is not distant. It is real, and Romanians feel its effects directly. Hybrid warfare means drones, cyberattacks, disinformation, and psychological intimidation, all aimed at weakening our societies. Three things are clear: 1. Anyone who cannot say “Russia is the aggressor” is accomplice. 2. The SAFE programme, including anti-drone capabilities, helps protect us. Anyone who blocks it is accomplice. 3. Defending Ukraine means defending ourselves.

Noční bezprecedentní zásah obytného domu v rumunském Galați ruským dronem, při kterém byli zraněni dva lidé, je zcela nepřijatelný. Neměli bychom ale zůstat jen u společného odsouzení. Jednoznačně proto podporuji apel rumunského prezidenta Dana na silnou mezinárodní odpověď. Rusko musí jasně pochopit, že si podobné útoky nenecháme líbit.

L-am convocat pe Ambasadorul Federației Ruse la sediul Ministerului Afacerilor Externe. Siguranța României este prioritatea noastră absolută. Avem confirmarea MAPN că drona care s-a prăbușit pe o clădire rezidențială din Galați este de proveniență rusească. Decizia a fost luată în urma incidentului de o gravitate majoră și îi vom comunica oficial efectele pe care această lipsă de responsabilitate a Federației Ruse le va atrage asupra relației diplomatice dintre țările noastre și pașii următori la nivel european privind pachetele de sancțiuni. Președintele a convocat Consiliul Suprem de Apărare a Țării în această dimineață.

Early this morning, an apartment building in Romania was struck by a drone as Russia attacked Ukrainian infrastructure near the border. @SecGenNATO is in touch with Romanian authorities. Am avut episodul cu ministrul ungur ca experiment de manipulare la scară națională. Anterior acestui moment am tratat niște manipulări orchestrate de talibanii globaliști de data aceasta, printre care și cea privind votul AUR pe legea cu dronele. Am scris acum 37 de săptămâni o postare și profit de algoritmi și atacul din Galati ca să ajungă la cât mai mulți explicația felului în care talibanii globaliști au manipulat: “Încă un FAKE - pentru că AUR s-ar fi opus adoptării Legii doborârii dronelor, Romania nu avea cum să facă asta Înainte de Legea 73/2025 privind controlul utilizării spaţiului aerian naţional (cea față de care AUR a votat contra în Camera Deputaților și nu s-a prezentat la Senat), exista Legea 257/2001 privind modul de acţiune împotriva aeronavelor care utilizează neautorizat spaţiul aerian al României. Ați putea crede că dronele nu erau definite anterior, dar nu e așa, pentru că Legea 257/2001 se referea la „aeronavă - orice aparat, cu motor sau fără motor, pilotat ori nepilotat, dirijat sau nedirijat, care se poate menţine în atmosferă cu ajutorul altor reacţii ale aerului decât cele asupra suprafeţei pământului”. Mai mult, în Codul aerian adoptat în 2020 scrie că orice dispoziţie a codului aerian referitoare la aeronave se aplică şi aeronavelor fără pilot la bord (adică dronelor) dacă nu este specificat în mod expres altfel în textul codului. Și da, se exercitau aceleași lucruri: deturnare, foc de avertisment, foc de nimicire etc. Dacă încă mai susții că AUR e de vină că România nu putea să doboare dronele rusești, atunci te voi cataloga ca fiind slab intelectual (ca să mă exprim elegant). P.S. Motivul pentru care AUR nu a susținut legea e legat de dispozițiile ce vizează încălcarea suveranității naționale prin faptul că se permite structurilor NATO în cadrul unor misiuni specifice să execute diverse acțiuni pe teritoriul național. Au atacat la CCR și CCR a spus că e constituțional. End of story. P.P.S. Dați share că poate mai creștem nivelul intelectualității în România. Doamne ajuta!”

Russia’s war of aggression has crossed yet another line. A Russian drone incursion struck a densely populated area in Romania, injuring civilians. On EU territory. We stand in full solidarity with Romania and its people. As we continue strengthening our security and deterrence, especially on our Eastern border, we will keep increasing the pressure on Russia. We are preparing a 21st package of sanctions.

Une énième fois, un Etat membre de l'OTAN/UE est attaqué « par erreur » par la Russie. Rappelons qu'on se rapproche des 100 000 drones de ce type lancés sur l'Ukraine depuis le début de la guerre. Va-t-on enfin prendre au sérieux la défense aérienne de notre flanc est ? Ou encore parler dans le vide pour éviter « l'escalade » face à une Russie qui ne comprend que les rapports de puissance. Nous devons à minima exiger des excuses publiques de Moscou et si elles sont refusées, organiser une riposte proportionnée pour bien montrer qu'on ne touche pas à nos alliés, c'est la base de la puissance.
