JUST IN: 15 people held at gunpoint in Chicago’s trendy River North, Streeterville, and Lakeview over recent weeks. Robbers forced cash app transfers, stole phones, kidnapped some in a black BMW, and drained accounts on the spot.
Right on cue, one stunned local says: “I mean, this is supposed to be a safe area.”

Obviously, this is aimed directly at Kevin Warren but ownership hired him & has à lack of liquidity to get a stadium done 3 years later.

Chicago students and educators deserve clean, safe, fully staffed schools.
But after CPS cut hundreds of custodial positions, principals and custodians are now reporting dirtier buildings, impossible workloads, trash piling up, and even pest problems. More than 75% of principals surveyed said they don’t have enough custodial staff to meet their schools’ needs.
This is what happens when budgets are balanced on the backs of school communities.
