This seems like a pretty poor way to people who aren't just fans, but paying consumers. This is MLB's deal and handling. The Mariners know how big this season is and they don't want this situation. They would've preferred to have the information out there weeks ago for fans to make choices.

@ThanosIsCool @RyanDivish 1261 tells me I need a subscription. Customer service says I can’t add just that channel. Have to add a bunch of extra garbage for $30 extra a month……NOPE

@RyanDivish I got it on xfinity 1261. No issues. I believe they didn’t even have 1261 until yesterday. I can see why there would be issues. Whoever or whatever should have rolled it out in spring training. 1261 didn’t exist for spring training and I could not watch much spring training.

I said a large segment of the fanbase wouldn't get to watch tonight's game because of this fiasco. I was told I was wrong. Sure doesn't feel like it

@ATLBeerBrewer This is spot on. So many people perfectly edit their audio (not here as much as YouTube or tiktok perhaps). It’s like “I suck” because there was a string that rang out. The community here has helped me get over the imposter syndrome no doubt.

Guitar thought: social media is awesome for guitarists. Social media is also a detriment to aspiring guitarists. Like anything else when it comes to social media and “influencers”, guitar influencers can and often discourage new players. New players see these well curated videos and one take out of 900 where the player is “perfect”. New players then can experience a “well whats the point” feeling after their 9,000 take and it isn’t perfect. So much of being a guitarist these days is less on gigs and more on posting your playing to social media for exposure. It is just a thought. EDIT: not a reflection of how I personally view things. I think it is best to compare yourself to yourself. Never get discouraged! Keep playing!
