Americans are getting blatantly ripped off, and it’s happening right in front of our faces.
In the United States, the average cost to give birth is over $20,000. Even if you have insurance, you’re still slammed with thousands in bills. Families are going into debt just to bring a child into the world.
A giant advertisement from an American hospital, proudly displayed in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, promoting childbirth packages for only a few thousand dollars. The kind of price Americans never even get to see.
So let’s be clear. Hospitals absolutely can offer reasonable prices. They just don’t offer them to the people living here. They save the “special low rates” for marketing campaigns abroad while the people who actually live, work, and pay taxes in this country are crushed under inflated, chaotic, predatory insurance-based pricing.
Americans are being drained dry. We are overworked. We are overcharged. We are exhausted from fighting a healthcare system that treats us like open wallets instead of human beings. And while we’re drowning in bills, the same hospitals turn around and advertise bargain prices elsewhere like it’s nothing.
People need to wake up. This system is not broken by mistake. It’s working exactly as designed and the people paying for it are us.

Wait til you find out they know when you’re in their stores. Which gives them the ability to charge you what they want without you knowing what others are being charged for the same item…
And it’s been shown poor communities actually pay more because they really aren’t that financially literate.
They have your data, they know what you make, they know more about you then you do.
I suggest reading this book. Especially the section about target and pregnant women

All controlled remotely from one central system.
This gives Walmart the ability to change the price of any product at any moment.
Based on demand, time of day, inventory levels, or whatever algorithm they choose.
And the moment Walmart moves, every major retailer in the country will follow.
Once everything turns digital, it's game over.
