@IanRunkle I mean, that's not a bad thing. LOL, do you really want people who act like this to have any say in governmental affairs that affect all Canadians? This whole thing seems like what you'd get as a video for "struggle session" in a modern digital encyclopedia.

@patriottakes You mean he thoroughly examined a historical event through simulation? Oh no. How terrible. What’s your angle here @patriottakes? Because presenting half truths out of context sure seems like spin, and I say that as a Canuck, who’s been suffering 11yrs of total spin.

I only made one Butt-Master 25 years ago as a joke (in case you couldn't figure that out from the name), and it never left my possession. Still, they're banning it in Canada. That should tell you everything you need to know about the mentality of the gun-grabbers...

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝘂𝗻𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 in Bondi Beach massacre (from article): Police are yet to reveal which weapons were used, but a director at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute said it appeared the suspects had a bolt action high-powered rifle and shotguns. “The 2 suspects were able to fire the weapons in quick succession because of the rifle’s 'straight-pull bolt action'" which made for quick reloading. NSW Police have confirmed that six firearms were legally owned by the father, who was a member of a gun club smh.com.au/national/speed…

At least 11 people were killed, dozens wounded, when 2 gunmen opened fire on event held at 🇦🇺Australia's Bondi Beach. Witness saw one gunman firing what looked like a shotgun “randomly in all directions” while another saw two shooters in black with semi-automatic rifles #GunsKill timesofisrael.com/it-was-a-blood…

Witnessed something incredible at the Amsterdam train station yesterday Fat and loud American tourist was trying to buy a water bottle for €4.50 Threw a €5 bill on the counter and started walking away ""Keep the change man" said in a typical annoying Californian accent "We don't do tips here. This isn't America" cashier responded The American tried to leave again but luckily security blocked the exit "You didn't get your receipt for tax purposes" "What?" Store manager appeared with a form "Did you attempt to give our cashier extra money?" "That's unreported income. He has to declare it now. Pay social contributions. It becomes €0.24 after tax" The American was baffled "Bro but in the US—" "In the US, workers beg for tips because they're underpaid. Here, we pay living wages" manager swiftly interrupted him They made him take his €0.50 back and quickly filed an incident report for "attempted tax circumvention" This is what a properly functioning society looks like

@IanRunkle @s_guilbeault He needs to look like he is offended and not in support of the liberal parties actions.. but still be there to fully support. His vote is needed. Let's see how he votes around matters in relation in the future. My bet.. is 100% yay 100% of the time.

@IanRunkle @s_guilbeault God no... he should cross the floor to the Green Party... it gives them another seat, and sends a message to Carney. Resigning as an MP yields does none of these things and only causes a by-election.

@s_guilbeault "While the economy continued to grow"... I don't think that word means what you think it means. After 10 yrs of Trudeau policy our economy's a freaking shambles... The only growth here was the cancerous Liberal fiscal policies.

@MarkCun70075997 @EylonALevy @charliekirk11 You're making the sin of underestimation here. There are a number of "lefties" throughout history that were excellent shots. Vasily Zaitsev comes to mind. Political affiliation doesn't necessarily equate to firearms competency.

@KristofferJos @EylonALevy @charliekirk11 Clearly context matters here. He was talking about rational discourse, and what he meant was "feelings mean nothing to me in the realm of _rational discourse_". And he's right, when it comes to rational discourse and logic, feelings aren't applicable.

@TheSciBabe So the guy sued because he was maligned by gawker, they filed chapter 11 because they lost in court because they were found at fault and somehow it’s his fault you lost your job? For a science writer thats some serious mental gymnastics. Seems the courts disagreed with you.

@WilliamSPhelps4 @BjornNatan @Travisdunna @Fat_Electrician Automakers are seeking to expand in the US because if they continue the way they do they get hammered on tariffs when they import portions of finished cars, or parts from Canada or Mexico for them to finish in the US and sell. They want to move to avoid that.

@BjornNatan @Travisdunna @Fat_Electrician no, foreign companies are paying it as well. any company that exports from another country to the US pays it. multiple automakers are seeking to expand US production to avoid them

The tariff is debate fascinating. Historically, Republicans have been the “don’t tax corporations or they’ll just pass the cost on to consumers” party. Tariffs are taxes, specifically on companies importing goods. So now Republicans are taxing companies, which is exactly what Democrats have pushed for forever. But, ironically, Democrats are the ones opposing tariffs, saying “the cost just gets passed on to the consumer.” It’s a complete role reversal by both parties. But only in the very specific context of tariffs. They maintain their original stance in all other circumstances.
