I asked Idahoans for their feedback, and the message was clear: make Daylight Saving Time (DST) permanent and end the twice-yearly clock changes. Today, I voted yes on H.R. 139, the Sunshine Protection Act, to do just that.

If you hate 4 p.m. sunsets, Congress may finally have good news. A Trump-backed bill that would allow states to keep Daylight Saving Time year-round is moving closer to a full House vote after advancing out of the House Rules Committee. President Trump celebrated the move, calling the twice-a-year clock change a "ridiculous" ritual and urging Congress to pass the measure.

Dear Senate, This is the wrong form of no more changing the clocks. This is the opposite one. Do the other one. Vote no.

@TheStarwald Minimum wage in those cities was $8 and they were plagued by “crunch culture”, leading to greatly reduced production times relative to today. There were 2100 games total for the 360. There are 13,000+ for the switch.

I grew up when there were no microtransactions in games, and they made money just fine.

First of all, Twitter no longer exists, but this is a behavior in recent @X versions. 😁 There doesn’t appear to be a dedicated “disable background playback” setting in X, so….few things to try: 1.) Turn off video autoplay in X: X → Settings & Privacy → Accessibility, display and languages → Data usage → Video autoplay → Never 2.) Pause video before swiping out of the app. 3.) Force close X app on your iPhone if it is always an issue. 👋🏼

@basket_of_bread @MizukiAlola You mistakenly thought my comment meant that it wasn't linear when in reality my comment was to highlight how linear the series as a whole has historically been since its inception and how insane you have to be to use linearity as a criticism of this specific franchise.

@Hardytier @MizukiAlola Feel free to show me on a map all the places that were optional & not just a corridor. Unlike many of the older games were you could go to somewhere on the map that wasn't tied to the story.

@MizukiAlola SwSh has problems, it's too linear without much exploring within its main map, & ironically it's too open in its 'Wild Areas' where there's nothing to do. The art direction is really quite good, & the new Pokémon are fantastic, the story is passable & the music is great.
