A Monk who can buy a Ferrari 🧵 i’m 36 yr old man, from a small village of a very small town in india. My Life was totally rekt since I was a teenager. I had a gud sharpe ratio in studies but some health issues confined my life to a room and scarcity of resources confined my dreams to my mind. However, i got a life threatening illness which later became chronic (still incurable and deadly) Afterwards, my Job became a nightmare for me and I slaved there at the cost of my health and personal life. I became workaholic due to my nature and chronic illness kept pestering me every few years. 12 years I worked like a slave putting my health at further hazard. I always craved to become financially free and quit job due to my chronic illness and wanted to live life to the fullest. So, I entered into share trading. And, imagine what. Most of what I earned from Salary, I wasted it on losses in share trading for 10 years through intraday, futures and options. My self confidence took a further dive. Then came COVID-19. I joined a telegram group for tips on share trading and there I came to know about a small telegram group of crypto traders in India. So, I got the taste of crypto blood in early 2021. From there I started my rags to riches journey in 2021. But wait. There is a twist in my story. In first 6-9 months, I made multiples of my initial capital. But out of greed and desparation to become financially free, I put all of my remaining savings+profits in crypto. That was a blunder. There came the long crypto winter 2022-23, and the castle I built with profits in crypto trading was dazed in days. No problem - I thought. I still have my initial capital and I can rise again. But, in next few months, my entire capital also got erased by the incessant storms of crypto winter. No problem - I thought again. I can borrow funds and build my capital again using leverage. So I borrowed funds and put it all onto the leverage dragon. I Burned it - All I borrowed more Again rekt More borrowed funds But, All burned again. All rekt So, i completely burned my mental, physical and financial state. I was debt ridden from head to toe and entire salary was going to serve the loan installments. I was defeated by my own greed & inexperience and devastated to the core. There seemed no return and end of everything. What next? Did crypto and Blockchain ruined my life forever.
