@WiltheThril06 @ClutchPoints @newheightshow So this is it - it's not a slight to Magic but any lineup with Lebron doesn't need a pure PG, and then because you know MJ will take a ton of shots you want that extra spacing.. and that's even before Steph does Steph things ..

@ClutchPoints @newheightshow Perfect 5, I get if someone wants to say Magic is a better PG, but Steph is better fitting on any starting 5 that has Lebron on it.

@admcollingwood You're quite obviously correct - everyone can literally control their phone modes, it isn't rocket science, and quite frankly if the call / message you're expecting is that important then you have more important things to do than disrupting a snooker venue (however inadvertently)

The #snooker authorities have to do something about mobile phones going off during play. It is out of control. I strongly suspect that that is what caused Shaun Murphy to miss the green in the second frame, and it is only a matter of time before it costs a player a match. It won't take many people being kicked out on the first offence to put an end to it, and while it might feel harsh to do so, audiences have shown that they are unable to address this issue themselves. Time for zero-tolerance, I am afraid. @BBCSport @WeAreWST

@Robbie_OR Correct. I will say though that the last 3 - 4 frames of O'Sullivan v Selby was exceptional for the absolute torrent of remarkable shot-making / break-building (and some great commentary) rather than the drama of pressure-induced errors we saw in Yize - Allen and Wilson - McGill

This has been the best set of semi finals since the covid year when Ronnie beat Selby and that Wilson McGill mental last frame.

Waugh’s Double Ends West Indies’ Reign One of Steve Waugh’s finest moments came in Jamaica, where his gritty 200 turned the match and the series. Walking in at 73/3, he stitched a crucial 231-run stand with Mark Waugh. West Indies faltered in the second innings, ending their remarkable 15-year unbeaten Test series run. #OnThisDay in 1995

@nimishdubey This is where stats help. Imran averaged 19 with the ball 1985 - 90, our mid friend Wasim averaged 22.7 from 1986 - 89, and Waqar chottu was embarking on a journey where he would average 18 across 30+ tests taking 190 wickets. Lucky Sachin 😂

They are now making fun of Sachin Tendulkar in his debut series? Does the past have to be treated with contempt to make the present great? Indian cricket twitter has now become nauseating. This is disgusting.

@Dominic02000091 @WG_RumblePants This is actually it. And I like watching him bowl, but he averages 30 in an era where Cummins, Rabada, Bumrah, Hazelwood, Boland, Jansen have all done much better - it's not like he's behind 1 or 2 guys, there are a bunch of guys streets ahead of him.

@OversLife @BabajiSutar3 This is it - the 2 sides combined for around 290 runs for the loss of 20 wickets in their first innings, and Greenidge alone hit 226, with all the pressure, people baying for his retirement etc, all at the age of 39. It is easily one of the greatest innings ever played. Mighty

@BabajiSutar3 Look at the scorecard, it was a low scoring match for sure. This makes this knock even more iconic.

#OnThisDay 1991 , What a timeless masterclass from Sir Gordon Greenidge at 39! Silencing every doubter who thought his eyes had gone ! He walked out under pressure in Barbados and delivered a thunderous double century , his fourth in Tests and the highest by a West Indian against Australia. The hooks, pulls, and elegant drives were pure poetry. This knock wasn’t just runs; it was a statement from one of the greatest openers the game has ever seen. Pure West Indies greatness. Respect forever, GG! 🫡

The story of the West Indies Rebel Tours to South Africa isn’t an easy one, but it's part of our cricket history that is worth remembering. It’s like a tale of talent, survival, and a brutal double standard. 🧵

Wayne Daniel, a former Barbadian right-arm fast bowler who represented the West Indies from 1976 to 1984. 🇧🇧 The man who hit a six and took a wicket with the last ball of his Test career. He was part of that terrifying 70s/80s pace attack but often stayed in the shadows of the Four Horsemen. But in County Championship, for @Middlesex_CCC, he was an absolute giant. 685 FC wickets at 22.02 and multiple County titles. 🫡 #CricketHeritage #WeymarOnCricket
