@nanoleaf@rodemics My sister was a bit short of cash for basics so I bought her a big slab of loo roll and a box of washing powder from Costco. Wrapped it all up in proper paper and put it under the tree. The kids were super excited then very disappointed.
@nanoleaf@nomadgoods I don't have a "holiday" spirit I may have a Christmas spirit. I find your use of the word holiday to refer to Christmas extremely offensive. You wouldn't call Ramadan the hungry season. Why call Christmas holiday season?

@cyberconfidence@michelledonelan Are you really open? Your website still says you're refurbishing offices and planning to open in early 2022. And your own "News " page doesn't mention opening. I was hoping for info on what you offer and how to get access etc...
WE'RE OPEN! It's official! Thankyou to all who have supported the BCC today, as well as along the journey!
#cyberconfidence#BCCLaunch22@michelledonelan thank you for officially opening our building!
@ElvenSpellmaker@AzureSupport@michael_hogburn You can imagine finance/management asking "why there is an AWS bill for the Azure team?"
"We host our status page there in case Azure goes down."
And someone gets fired for being a smart-arse and the status page moves to Azure.🤣
@tpuddle My suggestion would be export to images and store them in a secured cloud storage (eg passworded zip file) somewhere you can access without 2FA, that has no reference to the real logins/accounts. Still won't help if you have no replacement device..
@tpuddle _don't_ lose your phone. :-)
This is not such a problem with iOS, it used to backup the 2FA secrets, so a restore would restore everything. Android (I recently discovered) does not.
Google auth has an "export" function now. But only imports to another G Auth.
@ElvenSpellmaker@AzureSupport@michael_hogburn Your status page's IP address cannot be resolved. Neither can any of our services on Azure. I can't believe you're still asking fundamental questions not panicking!
@AzureSupport@michael_hogburn I can't get to azure.com, via any means. The status page, pulling from Azure DevOps Repos and the portal all don't resolve.
@LastPassHelp Is it just me or is anyone else finding that logins to LastPass in the Chrome plugin just get a safe with a spinning lock handle, then logged back out after about 5 seconds? Logins to lastpass.com are OK...
@jezhumble@geoaxis PS If your brother is Matt, then I think I told him where in memory to spoof an econet address, to "hack" the school network. IIRC he got in trouble for doing it and I got in less trouble for telling him how. (Harold is not my real name)
@jezhumble@geoaxis I saw you speak at Jenkins world in SanFran a few years ago and thought "that bloke looks familiar". But your bio was all US based so I didn't trust my brain. NOW I find out you went to the same school as me! (I'm now in Chippenham)
@rezendi They're worried about them licking the "road salt" from cars. But not worried about the road salt that is on _the roads_... Which will encourage moose to hang out on roads, where they will pose more hazard than hanging out by parked cars.
This is all well & good as a PSA, but presumably your car will be parked, so, uh, how you gonna stop them? I've met a couple of moose in the wild. They ... did not seem overly troubled by the threat I might pose, he understated. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/11/22…
