It's absolutely pouring with rain all day, and England plays in the world cup at 1pm. The chances of any of my UGs turning up for a riveting 3pm discussion about exercise and the immune response in cancer and rheumatoid arthritis - about the same as Iran beating England 😉

Finally got round to successfully defending my PhD thesis today! Maybe because I already had ~10+ years’ experience working in sport before starting my PhD, I can hand on ❤️ say that 9 years later it has had the biggest positive influence on my APPLIED practice 1/2
