I don’t care if someone works in an office, a warehouse, a restaurant, or cleans floors. If you give 40 hours of your life every week, you should be able to pay rent, buy groceries, cover your bills, and still have enough left to breathe a little. That shouldn’t be some dream. It should be normal. The fact that so many people work full-time and still live stressed, behind, and one emergency away from disaster tells you this system is failing the people who keep it running.

Imagine how rattled the powers that be are against a single woman, who stood up to the BJP’s illegal blocking of roads in Mumbai, that Gunaratna Sadarvarte’s daughter has filed a ‘complaint against a woman for fighting for a woman’s rights, at a woman’s protest?’
Sadavarte is a pro-BJP lawyer, who is well known for his ‘fake pretexts’ to move court, when the BJP can’t do so. This is shameful and makes the BJP look more evil than it already is!

Everyone is "tolerating" this woman because she seems "ache ghar ki". She is wearing decent clothes, speaking in English. So the police will let her be, the minister will act cordial.
If in her place, it was a rickshaw driver (whose time is also equally important), he would be thrashed by the cops right there and the minister would laugh on his face.
That is the "system" we have created in India.
Ministers and politicians act like kings, and we are supposed to be under their mercy. The middle class will be tolerated but eventually shown their place. The poor have no say and only matter when their vote is needed.

A woman is allegedly seen losing her cool on Maharashtra cabinet minister Girish Mahajan, over the traffic snarl caused by the BJP morcha in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. This was during a protest march on the issue of the Women's Reservation Bill. She was heard asking the minister to protest on a ground, and not hold up the traffic by marching on the streets. The opposition hit out at the BJP while appreciating the woman. - @vinivdvc reports Video: Special Arrangement
