This map is incredibly misleading. Describing everything in range of loitering munitions as a “kill zone” is just not in touch with reality. Even within the 50km zone the so called “kill zone” is only persistent in the most high intensity areas of operation.

If the US defence industry cannot cope with the ridiculously small amount of supplies given to Ukraine, well, the US is doomed.

This is the reason why I will never give up blasting stupid takes like this. A drone flying at low speed with a fraction of the payload of a TLAM is not replacing TLAM… stuff cost money for a reason for the sake of God!

@IntCyberDigest They are using Abaqus one of the best non linear solvers, looks like 2022 version. Interesting @Dassault3DS is selling them the licenses token to run military stuff. Dassault softwares such as abaqus is vastly used also in Europe and US.

Every tool as a task and should be built for that only. In the past we used to prefer multi role stuff because there was truth in the possibility to use the same platform for several different tasks. However if you are in an attritional war, despite we will try to do not end up into it, some of your assets should be scalable in production if you need. Trucks, armored cars, transportation drones are those that you may need in the thousands a week or even a day. But do not think that every ruin should be cheap, because there is nothing intelligent in fielding crap just because is cheap. Ukraine has mastered drone production and design because have to. Often production is done with no profit in mind and in certain case is sustained by the government even if is not profitable. And for sure we should study this war to learn how to avoid attrition and how to minimise ita impact if we cannot avoid it.

If we are going to be using UGVs in logistics roles, they need to be obtained in more than boutique numbers and be as cheap as chips.
