🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

JUST IN: @bitcoinpolicy reports a last-minute amendment to Kentucky HB 380 could effectively ban Bitcoin self-custody in the state. The provision would require hardware wallet providers to reset users’ seed phrases on request, something that is technically impossible for non-custodial wallets. The language was added late to a broader crypto kiosk bill that is expected to pass the Senate within days. Industry groups warn the mandate would break Bitcoin’s core security model and push users toward centralized custodians.

For 12 years, I was married to a conventionally “nice guy.” He never hit me. Never cheated (or at least I didn’t know and we never had infidelity issues), he never even argued much. He was calm. Quiet. Agreeable. In the beginning I thought that meant I was safe, and I felt lucky to have him. Because other women had worse right? But this is exactly why the marriage eventually failed… His “good guy” image meant he never led. He never decided. He never carried weight. So I did. I had to step in and keep the boat rowing and afloat. Financially. Emotionally. Strategically. And eventually I was left tired, exhausted and resentful. Because “nice” without initiative is passivity. And passivity turns a wife into infrastructure. I wasn’t married to a monster. I was married to a passenger.
