Here's a neat case I found when doing some research on 3 Alberta supercells from 2025. You can really see 3 different types of supercell storm modes based on their cell velocity. Green indicates storm motion under 40km/hr, while red is over 80km/hr. (1/7)

SPC has outlined a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for today (Friday, May 8) from southeast Kansas through Much of Oklahoma and far north Texas. Storms are expected to fire along a cold front as a shortwave trough embedded within the broader northwest flow regime approaches the area. Modest moisture return should lead to higher-based storms, but wind profiles will favor supercells with a large hail and damaging wind threat. A very low but nonzero tornado threat also exists.
