How is it even possible that 48 women can be sexually assaulted by the same man, provide evidence of the assaults at trial and all 48 victims are determined to be liars and he’s found innocent? There needs to be an investigation into this judge and this ruling

48 female patients came forward to testify to sexual assault by a male Neurologist in Canada. Male judge discounts ALL of them AND the expert testimony of Dr. Vera Bril (a female doctor and expert) who told the court that it is not norm to do vaginal exams, breast exams or exams of other intimate areas during appointments for neurological concerns. Canada. Nothing to do with the justice system makes sense to me anymore.

It requires re-posting - long post. Share among your networks and re-post. Please read to end then contact your local, provincial, or federal leader/representative [Link to news story at end] Male judge Craig Parry (Kitchener) acquits neurologist of 48 counts of sexual assault against 48 female patients. Yes, that's right - 48 female patients came forward. 48 female patients were not believed. 48 female patients apparently deemed unreliable Male judge discounts expert testimony of Dr. Vera Bril - yes, female doctor and expert - who told the court that it is not norm to do vaginal exams, breast exams or exams of other intimate areas during appointments for neurological concerns. Go figure! However, male judge knows better than female doctor/expert. He finds the evidence of 48 women unreliable. He acquits male accused anyway, despite the 'doctor' having had license revoked in 2019 by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Looking for any male who has had a prostate exam when they went to doctor for neurological concerns. We'd love to year from you. What happened during the acquittal of Jeffrey Sloka? ctvnews.ca/kitchener/arti…

Our healthcare system is already stretched to the brink - the last thing we should be seeing right now is workforce cuts at hospitals like The Ottawa Hospital. The province needs to step up and properly fund our hospitals. This isn’t optional - it’s about people’s lives. Cuts don’t fix the system. They put patients and workers at risk. #onpoli ottawacitizen.com/news/local-new…

It is always interesting seeing Canadians spreading misleading information against Canada. Let us verify this claim using the official trade documents and the binding legal rulings. For the context, the screenshot shared in the video shows the introductory page of the United States' formal complaint from 2021. Presenting an initial legal accusation as proof of an ongoing violation is a standard disinformation tactic. The Facts of the Dispute 👉 Canada legally committed to providing U.S. dairy producers access to specific quotas under CUSMA. The U.S. challenged how Canada allocated these quotas to its domestic processors. Canada revised its allocation methods in 2022. The U.S. launched a second dispute panel in 2023 to challenge the revised rules. On November 24, 2023, the CUSMA dispute settlement panel issued its final, binding report. The panel ruled entirely in Canada’s favor. The international panel confirmed Canada's revised dairy quota allocation practices fully comply with its CUSMA obligations. The claim of an ongoing violation is definitively false. ❌ The Government of Canada officially confirmed the final legal outcome with this statement: “Canada is very pleased with the dispute settlement panel's findings, with all outcomes clearly in favour of Canada. This is good news for Canada's dairy industry and our system of supply management.” # Official CUSMA Sources You can verify the rules governing this access and the subsequent dispute in the official Canada United States Mexico Agreement text: Chapter 3 (Agriculture): Article 3.A.2 dictates the administration and allocation rules for agricultural TRQs. Chapter 2 (National Treatment and Market Access for Goods): Annex 2 B, Appendix 2 outlines the exact volumes for the Tariff Rate Quotas of Canada. Chapter 31 (Dispute Settlement): This chapter governs the international panel process that ruled in Canada's favor in November 2023. #cusma #CdnPoli

🚨 BREAKING What the media won’t tell you: Canada has been violating CUSMA since 2021. Trump’s administration was right. We aren’t giving them access to our dairy industry. Liberals drew first blood.

Your brain has a circuit that doesn't know you live in a city. Its only job is to monitor whether birds are still singing. Right now, in this room, it is on. The circuit predates primates. Mammals have been using ambient soundscape continuity as a predator-detection system for roughly 200 million years. Birds stop singing when something larger moves through their territory. For most of mammalian history, a forest full of song meant no large predator was nearby, and the cessation of sound was the warning. Your nervous system never updated this software. The Max Planck Institute tested the inverse in 2022 with 295 participants. Six minutes of birdsong dropped anxiety with a medium effect size. Six minutes of traffic noise raised depression with the same. The effect worked on subjects who lived in dense urban environments and had no regular contact with nature. The brain still ran the check. Birdsong sits in the 1,000 to 8,000 Hz range. Your brainstem reads continuous patterns in that band as a signal that nothing dangerous is currently moving through the environment. EEG data shows birdsong at 45 to 50 decibels boosts alpha wave activity by 14.1% relative to silence. Alpha is the brainwave signature of relaxed alertness. Push the same birdsong above 60 decibels and the response flips. Stress markers rise 29%. The circuit only trusts the signal at the volume of quiet conversation, which is exactly the volume birds sing at from a typical distance. Three things happen simultaneously when the brain registers ambient safety. The amygdala downregulates. The parasympathetic nervous system takes over from the sympathetic. Heart rate variability rises, cortisol drops. The posterior cingulate cortex, which sits at the center of the rumination circuit, quiets down. King's College London tracked this through a smartphone study with over 1,200 participants and found the mood lift lasted hours after the sound stopped. People diagnosed with depression got the same response as healthy controls. Most of what gets labeled mental fatigue is hypervigilance running in the background. Birdsong tells the circuit it can stand down, and the brain reallocates the freed compute everywhere else. A quiet park feels different from a quiet office because the parks have sentinels.

We talk about Ford's relationship to the cops, but often overlooked in Ford's reign of corruption is the role of the judiciary. Ford has had eight years of appointing judges now, "like-minded" ones. We wrote about the ex-staffers/lobbyist Ford appointed to choose judges.

We've seen this before Ontario. Under Premiers Harris and Eves we cut beds and staff. The resultant hallway medicine disaster lives on today, and is expanding under Premier Ford. Let it be said the public was aware and healthcare workers spoke out. cbc.ca/news/canada/to…

Watch closely, this isn’t happening by accident. Doug Ford is following the same playbook we’re seeing elsewhere. Step by step, it mirrors what Danielle Smith is doing in Alberta and what the U.S. system has normalized for years. This is how it starts:
Underfund public healthcare → create frustration → introduce “alternatives” → normalize private, for-profit care → bring in insurance-driven models. And let’s be clear the capitalist private insurance companies have been eyeing Canada for decades. There’s been pressure going back to the Harper era to open that door. Because once it opens, it doesn’t close. Universal healthcare isn’t just a system it’s a safeguard. And if people don’t pay attention now, we risk waking up to something very different. This isn’t fear-mongering. It’s a pattern. And patterns matter.

I don't just want to hear that a new Premier will undo this. I want to hear that they will: - Fire police if evidence is destroyed - Use Asset Forfeiture laws to seize ALL of Ford's and co-conspirator's properties - Put MPPs and Ford in prison I want a scorched earth approach
Marit Stiles@MaritStiles

Why would a government change the law to hide their records – unless they had something to hide? Doug Ford just did that. He rewrote Freedom of Information laws to bury his phone records and 40 years of government documents. As Premier, I will undo this. But right now, I need those records preserved. Especially all the ones related to the ongoing criminal investigation into the Greenbelt Scandal.

Mike Harris' "Common Sense Revolution" destroyed Ontario. I believe that Doug Ford's regime is causing even more damage. It's a party more concerned with power and rewarding its friends than governing. We're in trouble.

15 months ago, @fordnation called an election 17 months early. He needed a mandate to deal with Trump! How’s that going? Without the early call, Ontario would be headed to the polls in 6 weeks and none of his secret agenda would in play. No Bill 33 No retroactive FOI changes No Bill 101 No Billy Bishop Airport appropriation No jet purchases No new plans to fill in part of the Toronto waterfront to build a new convention centre No ‘Protect Ontario’ ads that the Auditor General determines are partisan in nature and not public service announcements These are major developments in which the Ontario electorate was not consulted. The Premier acts unilaterally and expects a parade. Premier Ford had an election campaign to share his plans, debate the pros/cons and give voters an opportunity to decide. #onpoli #onted

The Lieutenant Governor has the power to REMOVE a sitting Premier when they violate the law. Currently Premier Ford is violating 2 laws. 1. The court order to provide his texts is one issue. 2. There was a failure to provide the funding for Nurse Practioners. The legal deadline for that passed on April 1. Oddly her website is down. Even Google AI noticed it. There are ways around it though.
