Introducing yourself to voters/donors can sometimes run out the clock on pivoting negative.

As Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink owned stock in lithium companies - while participating in diplomatic work to land a U.S.-Ukraine mineral rights deal. A nonpartisan government watchdog said it plainly: she should have sold the stock or walked away. She did neither. Voters are furious about corruption this election cycle! We can’t send a candidate to the general election, particularly in a swing district like #MI07, who will be playing defense on day one.

He’s not shy about that. On top of that Jewish Day Schools are heavily subsidized by the most successful members of the community.
