RIP, brother 💙 Tributes have been paid to PC 74 Greg Gill after he sadly died on Wednesday (25 March), having been diagnosed with incurable cancer a number of years ago. The 41-year-old, who was a ‘proud’ serving police officer, was part of the Cambridge City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team, having joined the Force in 2019. Branch secretary Kevin Misik, who worked closely with Greg, said: “Greg was a well-respected member of the Cambridge NPT and will be fondly remembered by everyone who worked with and knew him. “He continued to work where his illness allowed and on many a blisteringly hot day could be found at Parkside handing out ice cream. “Many people describe cancer as a battle, but not Greg. Greg knew from the beginning what the outcome would be - but for him, this was a journey, not a battle. A journey he walked with dignity and stoicism, and one I was incredibly proud to walk alongside him on. “He will be greatly missed.” Greg is survived by his wife Edita, who described her husband as ‘a proud police officer, whose job was very important to us both.’ “Our thoughts are with Edita, along with all of Greg’s loved ones, friends and colleagues at this extremely sad time,” said Kev. It’s no coincidence that NCIS had its own Nigerian crime desk bcs of the amount of scams & fraud they proliferate, that money won’t get anywhere near a port. This govt is determined to waste as much as it can.
