What is the best example of a Melee combeback that ISN'T marthritis or a generational 2v1 fumble? I feel like all the normal candidates fall into one of those buckets and they're IMO less interesting.

This was never a game for me (not a tag fighter or LoL fan), but it always seemed bizarrely complicated for a game that was supposed to be League players' first fighting game, no?
Also between it and Multiversus I'm not sold whatsoever on the team format for fighting games 🫤

@campagne_papi Well if nobody plays in teams, but the systems have been designed with that in mind...that's kind of a problem? FORCING co-op play would obviously be a huge mistake, but every formula has tradeoffs, and the one made here being for the sake of something nobody uses sounds odd

every character is crucial for the health of melee's ecosystem as a whole. nobody has it easy all the way
yes, marth cooks the space animals. but he must perform rocket science against all 24 chungus characters, including himself.
