I spent $70k on this natural diamond engagement ring two years ago
Worth basically nothing now
And every other chick has a bigger lab grown ring for $10k

BREAKING: The price of diamonds has crashed to its lowest level this century.

@HeatDameTime @DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 That wasn't your statement, and you won't be able to redirect the convo (i.e., change the subject). You look stupider and more stubborn, obdurate, and obtuse with every reply.
English

@FritzgeraldCat @DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 The more you reply without admitting even you would have a rational limit, the funnier it gets
English

@HeatDameTime @DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 You didn't say more, you said 40%. That was stupid. You are stupider to think I'll somehow overlook that. Stop digging, you've made enough if a fool out of yourself already.
English

@FritzgeraldCat @DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 To save you some time, I know you won’t answer the simple hypothetical again, because ironically all your insults are just a way of avoiding having to think
English

@FritzgeraldCat @DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 Still avoided the point 🤣
To make it easier for you since you’re stuck on the random numbers:
If they reduce pay to 0 would you gladly pay more in tips? Since you’re so fixated on it being a culture, should all businesses go to $0 salaries because you’ll take care of it
English

@HeatDameTime @DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 Stop bitching about other cultures. If you don't get it by now, you are a dumb ugly ---. Stay in England and keep your BS to yourself.
English

@DanielOber7 @Mappy6984 I don’t understand why it’s expected that patrons are responsible for the wages because the servers don’t get paid well. If they drop it to 0 should we tip 40%?
English

When my wife was a server getting paid $2.50/hour and relying on tips to make a living wage, some days she didn't even bring home the $60 this server received which was only like an 8% tip on $525 but still. $60 tip times 10 tables in a night, which I'm lowballing because feel like you could serve more than 10 tables in a shift. That's $600 a shift. If you do that 5 days a week every month for a year, it puts you well over the 25k that is tax deductible. Stop being greedy or you're gonna put yourself in a higher tax bracket and then the government gets to take your extra tips anyways. Maybe aspire to be something more than a server if making 6 figures annually is something you want for yourself.

@__White_Bread__ @onoverunder @Mappy6984 Genuine question (not trying to incite any rage or troll) - why is the culture % based?
If I order a £10 salad or go for a £100 lobster, if the tip is for the server and not the chef, how did their service differ?
English

@onoverunder @Mappy6984 How is anything I said even debatable? 🤣🤣

> you buy an Echo for $29.99

> "Alexa, play music"
> Amazon hires thousands of people to listen to your recordings
> they hear families. arguments. children alone in their rooms.
> your voice makes advertisers pay 30x more than your browsing history
> Amazon's ad business: $46.9 billion
> the FTC fines them $25 million. that's 4 hours of ad revenue.
> in 2025, Amazon removes the only setting that kept your voice off their servers
> you didn't buy a speaker. you bought a microphone.

Joe Mazzulla has racked up four 50-win seasons in just four years.
Meanwhile, Erik Spoelstra has done it four times… in 18 years. 👀
Is Joe the best coach in the NBA?

@UziCryptoo Then complain about how people who bought houses twenty years ago built up asset value exceeding the interest

Floyd Mayweather says he’s no longer interested in owning an NBA team
“In the past, I talked about owning an NBA team, but it looks like it’s a lot of stress in the NBA being an owner. You see an owner get involved with the NBA, and he’s looking happy. Then as years progress, he’s looking older. So, I don’t know.”
