XLM is not fully decentralized, and regulation is eventually going to expose where the influence actually sits. When a network depends on shared trusted validators and overlapping trust lists, that is not pure decentralization that is coordinated trust. It works, but it is not as independent as people market it. Institutions would 100% plant bait for years to protect their capital.
