The brothers in Hezbollah have fought alongside us, given martyrs for the cause, and been our dear ally and suffered enough oppression and hardship. There is either a ceasefire on all fronts, or a ceasefire nowhere at all."

There will be no enrichment of Uranium, and the United States will dig up and remove all of the deeply buried (B-2 Bombers) Nuclear 'Dust.' Nothing has been touched. This latest ceasefire deal is just another chapter in the same coercive diplomatic dance that has been ongoing since President Trump took office for his second term. He opens the door to diplomacy, gives a deadline (subject to extension depending on performance), threatens consequences if U.S. demands are not met, prepares the theater for military action, and then if the president determines #Iran's regime is not serious, he strikes. He's testing this variation of the Islamic Republic's leadership and its decision-making calculus. If they don't play ball, there will likely be another round of fighting. Wash, rinse, repeat. Tehran wanted to break this exact Trumpian cycle and style of negotiating by at first insisting on a permanent deal and refusing a temporary one. That didn't happen due to President Trump's threats.

During an interview this morning ABC News, President Donald J. Trump appeared to endorse a condition by Iran in last night’s ceasefire that allows them to charge tolls on ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, claiming that the fees may by a “joint venture” between Iran and the United States. “We’re thinking of doing it as a joint venture. It’s a way of securing it - also securing it from lots of other people. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Using children as human shields is a war crime. There is no ambiguity, and no justification. Reports that the Islamic Republic of Iran is forcing children to stand in front of potential targets reflect a regime that does not protect life, but exploits it. Under international law, this is a grave breach that demands accountability. This is not new. During the Iran–Iraq War, children were sent across minefields and used as instruments of ideology.
