@Leslieks @ThanksCancer No one warned me and holy yikes so much weight gain. Luckily, the leg weakness/pain and back pain that're still here 2 years on means exercise is too hard. Good times

With cancer, you gain weight or lose weight based on which one you do NOT want.

@ThanksCancer True! First day I met the oncologist, she informed me I’d gain 25-30 pounds on chemo, and more on tamoxifen. 🙄

@AmitAryaMD Absolutely insane for any healthcare setting… especially for those of us immuno compromised and going through active cancer treatment, or seniors or children who are too young to be vaccinated. So upsetting. Our government doesn’t care about us at all.

BREAKING: This Saturday, Ontario will drop masking requirements for hospitals. Masking is the bare minimum we can do to keep vulnerable, frail, immunocompromised people safe in hospital when they are sick. Insanity.

At the moment in Ontario, ER wait times and crowding is at crisis levels. Many of us have never seen it this bad in our entire careers. The expiry of mask mandates in medical settings in June 11 is set to make this problem much worse. Here’s why:
