@RodolfoHodls @theo @safirr999 With sports betting, I cannot buy shares in the sports team, I can only trade derivatives, they are backed by no tangible value.

@RodolfoHodls @theo @safirr999 Yes if they are not based on sensible intangibles. The only reason you can trade derivatives on a stock is because you are able to buy it outright for X dollars. You can also influence the result of your options through purchasing the stock.

@getifyX You can also do this with calc and cap units. I didn’t know there was a specific property for it. Very neat

I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising. What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars. I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.

@rauchg They’re correct in many aspects, but there tons of devs who are not “lost in the technical sauce” and get actually ship for highest impact

@rauchg The Replit CEO was just saying things product people have been saying for a decade: that first to market matters more than security and performance. It’s just repackaged for AI

Not knowing how to code giving you an advantage is absolute nonsense. The more you understand, the better your prompts, the better the feedback you give, the better product you ship. What will change is that the intricacies of syntax, compilers, module systems, the finer details of type systems, won’t matter as much to everyone. But you should absolutely understand how the pieces fit together. From syscall to pixels. Learn how data flows, because you’ll be able to secure your systems. Learn about performance, because you’ll be able to push your agent further. Learn about APIs, because they determine how to integrate systems. Learn about how systems fail, because you’ll be able to make reliable programs.

Rest in Piece Valiaa Masume. A prominent raider with 461 recorded clears in the ultimate raid FRU. He was briefly in my FC and I regret not saying much more than a few hellos before he left us. Thank you to our community for holding this vigil in honor of him.💙Fly High🕊️

OpenAI just “acquired” OpenClaw / Clawdbot. Sam Altman announces: “Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to build the next generation of personal agents.” Feels like a setup, doesn’t it? 🦀 1/ Peter isn’t a corporate guy. He’s the dude who built one of the fastest-growing GitHub repos *ever* — basically solo. Pure code. Zero bullshit. Gets shit DONE. And OpenAI’s master plan? → Make him an executive. Bro. 💀 2/ I’ve seen this movie at every big tech company. Hire a real 10x builder → slap a fancy title on him → drown him in syncs, OKRs, 1:1s, and “strategic alignment” meetings. The politics eat the magic. Every. Single. Time. 3/ OpenAI keeps saying “open” with a straight face 😂 (the wink is carrying the whole brand at this point) Meanwhile xAI just open-sourced the full Grok weights + algorithm. No slides. No red tape. Just speed. OpenAI is highly bureaucratic @elonmusk will agree. Elon playing 4D chess while everyone else is still in PowerPoint. This looks like a massive W for OpenAI on the surface. But zoom out: They just took the best solo builder in the game and locked him inside the world’s most famous corporate cage. History says he’ll spend the next 12–24 months “aligning” instead of shipping. The AI race isn’t won by who *hires* the talent. It’s won by who actually *lets the talent cook*. Who’s cooking right now? You already know. 🦞

i am quitting xAI today. the team is awesome. elon is awesome. but they don't serve the best food. food is important. the company that serves good food has the best chance at agi. so i am starting a foundational food company and am announcing my partnership with xai.

@ycombinator is just funding loosing startups like @usebits_inc. $250K funding and still behind. ClawdBody does it in 23 seconds with the highest amount of traffic. $0 in funding. 3500+ users already and growing. Watch the video for yourself. What do you think @openclaw @ycombinator?
Y Combinator@ycombinator

OpenClaw is a new viral and scarily effective virtual assistant. But it's so hard to set up that even most engineers give up. @usebits_inc will set up your secure OpenClaw instance on the cloud, batteries included, in 5 minutes. Congrats on the launch @rob0the0nerd and @bailey_wickham! ycombinator.com/launches/POK-k…
