Like so many, I was horrified by the murder of George Floyd in the USA. Every so often there is a moment so shocking that it sparks a global demand for justice, a call for the end of deep seated racism and the building of a society committed to equality #GeorgeFloyd #NeverForget

Millions of public sector workers got up and went to work this Easter morning. Many of them those nurses the government think are only worth a 1% pay increase. They deserve better. We owe a debt to each and everyone of them.

#Mothersday Whereas think mothers should be acknowledged for all their hard work & everything we take for grantedmust admit today it's just 1 big hype.Most mums know they're appreciated & don't want their offspring spending precious money on overpriced goods just to boost profit.

The government are handing out £37bn contracts to their mates for a crappy track and trace system & are offering a pay rise that amounts to a posh coffee. This is an insult to all NHS staff. Staff are exhausted & at breaking point. We deserve more than posh coffee.

@iamaafaq I can't understand why these protests are being allowed in the Covid19 situation regardless of the cause. It's just madness.

To everyone protesting around the UK, please keep it peaceful and please try to follow hygiene rules and social distancing. Black and minority ethnic people are more succeptible to complications of Covid19, you are more at risk.

Much of how we access culture and the arts has moved online at an astonishing rate. But poor/slow internet connections and expensive devices mean many are locked out. To support our creative industries to flourish now and in the future, this must change. My question to Govt:
