Property taxes are a de facto unrealized capital gains tax... some bureaucrat downtown invents the home's value and applies a formula to it, just because I have an unrealized gain in the value of property does not mean I have that money to pay the tax

John Loc spent weeks viciously attacking anyone who ran a paid service when things were going well When he blew his entire portfolio he let all of his values change and now he’s chasing a quick buck. Note: I have nothing wrong with paid service owners, I don’t have one but it’s just because I’m currently choosing to keep my server free. I DO have something wrong with people who take a firm stance on an issue and let a change in circumstances completely flip thier stance Spineless.

I’m sad. My son who graduates soon isn’t going to prom, but because he didn’t want to but because no one would allow him to be a part of their group. My son is very shy and was bullied every year until this year. He was bullied relentlessly by teachers and students. He decided last min to purchase a ticket to prom -it took him months to get the courage to buy a ticket- and when he asked if anyone had room for one more, no one would allow him to join. So, he isn’t going. I can’t fix this pain. 💔
