One of the best instincts someone in social can have is this: Assume your reader is smart but impatient, never dumb but patient.

Reflex-researching every problem is a builder's liability. I came up in crypto as a researcher in my early 20s. New problem → research it → write a doc (the more thorough the better). As an intern it was the only way to feel like I was learning something real. Then I became a builder. Turns out builders decide 100x more often with 10x less time😅 Research becomes a luxury I can't really afford on everything - I now spend it only on problems with extreme uncertainty and highest upside. Researching everything is a big-company disease. None of us work at Google🤯 Copy, ship, learn!
