@NYCMayor Are you the Mayor or The Secretary of State? Please just focus on your city. That’s a 24/7 job. Look at the mess.

Last night, Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters off the coast of Greece — unlawfully detaining more than 175 people, including several New Yorkers. My team has been in direct contact with State and Federal partners as we work to confirm the whereabouts and conditions of these New Yorkers. This is a brazen violation of international law. Those detained must be released.

@hell_line0 then why do you not want any limit for elective abortions? There would be a lot less push back if you didn't have politicians advocating for something as extreme as post birth abortion

No one thinks a a 24-week old fetus is a clump of cells. Y’all have lost the plot so bad you’re just making stuff up as you go along.. 97% of abortions occur before 13 weeks. When a fetus is a clump of cells The 3% that occur before 24 weeks occur because the fetus poses a THREAT TO THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER. Stop advocating for Femicide..
Daisy@DaizyZeeX

A 24–week-old baby holds the thumb of a doctor post-birth. Born weighing 600 grams, with 10 fingers and tiny toes. This child isn’t “just a clump of cells,” but a human baby, valuable and worth fighting for.

@JFROSTMUSIC i still think Toph would win from sheer versatility She got earthbending, Metalbending, but also sandbending and mudbending (I wanna say lavabending too but i'm not sure that's canon) I also do think the seismic sense can give her a slight edge

This so-called "DEI Obama judge" graduated from Harvard Law, then earned an LLM from Duke Law School. Before his district court appointment, he served as a U.S. Magistrate Judge and as a Justice on the Texas First Court of Appeals. He was confirmed unanimously by the Senate in a 91-0 vote. I'm going out on a limb here, but maybe, just maybe, Kash Patel's defamation lawsuit was meritless rhetorical hyperbole, and that's the reason it was tossed.
🇺🇸 Mike Davis 🇺🇸@mrddmia

Unsurprisingly, this DEI Obama judge delivered in record speed. Shuck and jive, George Carol Hanks Jr. Shuck and jive.

@NYCMayor @NYCMayor Repeatedly cheering a win for a highly desirable blue-collar industry is not exactly the bulk of your constituents. I bet, with or without this new contract, 95% of your blue-collar constituents would trade their job for a NYC Residential job any day.

Doormen, porters, supers and building service workers make New York City home for so many — they deserve to afford a home here, too. This tentative agreement is a step towards respect and dignity for the workers who make our residential buildings run. It's another reminder that New York is, and always will be, a union town.

🔊NYC Residential Workers Win Demands, Strike Averted! 🎉 @32BJSEIU’s bargaining committee and @RABOLR reached a tentative agreement for 34,000 NYC Residential Workers. Pending member ratification, the new agreement will offer 34,000 residential building workers who work in NY’s co-ops, condos, and apartment buildings servicing 1.5 million New Yorkers,  💹Transformational wage victories  🛡️Protecting our existing health benefits ❤️‍🩹Improved Retirement Benefits #WeMakeNYCHome

@NYCMayor They can’t afford a home because of you, @NYCMayor. You turn every issue into theater, then make city life pricier, less stable, and harder for union workers to live in the NYC you’re destroying.

Mamdani proposes a pied-à-terre tax, which would essentially double the property tax for those with a second home valued over $5M in the city. This is a false promise. It's a lie. Taxing the rich never works. The government has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. When they use “tax the rich” as an excuse to increase spending, and then the rich leave, they will not scale back spending. Instead, the burden shifts to the middle class, until everyone is equally poor and government corruption thrives. Somehow through all of this, the government officials all get rich. Mamdani is selling a lie. Don't be stupid enough to fall for it.

40,000 people in NYC pay 60% of the taxes you fucking retard. The problem with socialism is eventually you run out of other people’s money but when you actually drive the rich people out it is much faster. Btw you stupid clown rents are very high in NY and pushing rich people into renting instead of owning will not have the effect you think it will.

BREAKING: Zohran Mamdani is fulfilling his campaign promise to open 5 city-run grocery stores across NYC. @NYCMayor told us the stores will: - Offer staple goods at a reduced price, subsidized by the city. - Contract a private vendor to run the stores who will be required to pay workers union wages. La Marqueta in East Harlem, first opened as a public market by Mayor LaGuardia in 1936, will house one of the stores.

@vvattup @MorePerfectUS @NYCMayor The city is subsidizing the food, not the workers directly. The only part of the contract that states anything about wages is that the contractor must who runs the store must pay employees union rates.

@MorePerfectUS @NYCMayor So the city is subsidizing union wages. In other words, the plan is unworkable if employees are paid union wages. Mamdani basically identified the problem: union wages. Is it not better to cure the disease then treat the symptoms?

@iJamesMichael @tufpraise It's against Christianity to wear two fabrics of different make. You wear jeans? How about sex before marriage, do that , don't you? Pulling out? God doesn't like that. How about pork or seafood? Tatoos? Straight to hell. Working on the Sabbath?

I have been briefed on an incident that occurred at Grand Central Station this morning. Reports indicate a man slashed three people on the platform with a machete. Officers shot the man when he did not drop the machete. He has since been pronounced dead. I’m grateful to the NYPD for their quick response and for preventing additional violence. The three victims were taken to the hospital and are thankfully in stable condition. The NYPD is conducting an internal investigation and will release body-worn camera footage, as it does in all incidents involving the discharge of an officer's firearm.

Kentanji Brown Jackson is too good for this court. I don’t have a transcript yet but she basically asked: “Didn’t they put birthright citizenship in the constitution in order to avoid this type of debate over who gets to claim a domicile?” And Sauer just stuttered. And then Sonia Sotomayor comes in with the “doesn’t this open the door to the government withdrawing citizenship from people who were born here?” More stuttering.
