@MoatlessCapital Bro, I'm expecting 575K WPM by the end of 2028, up from 350k by the end of 26 If they exceed this, then things get hard for the other guys

@thsottiaux thank you for removing 5 hour limits in Codex. Can you introduce a feature for limit controls? ie. I have a goal that can easily zap 100% of my weekly limit. I want it to auto pause when I hit X% remaining on my weekly limit so that I can survive the next 6 days!

THE RULE THAT GIANT MODELS REQUIRE GIANT RAM IS OFFICIALLY DEAD COLIBRI runs GLM-5.2, a 744B model, on a 25GB machine with no GPU. Because the model only needs a fraction of its parameters at once, colibrì smartly holds the core in RAM and streams the rest from disk on the fly. While disk speeds limit how fast it types, getting perfect responses from a massive model on a consumer rig is a stunning proof of concept! ★ 2.1k stars · Apache-2.0 100% free and open-source. @usr_bin_roygbiv I was having a conversation with Sol High about my personal creative project and wow. Where a full conversation with 5.5 would unveil 1 great insight, 5.6 was able to identify multiple in just 2-3 prompts.

I've seen multiple examples from myself and others i've spoken with of 5.6 doing things which previously would have taken entire companies or departments of people years of work just a year or two ago in one shot. People have no idea how large the skill and knowledge gap now is.

At different times you complained about speed, code slop, frontend quality, ... With each release we improve and GPT 5.6 Sol is ✅Fast and token efficient ✅Hardcore at back-end dev ✅Great at front-end ✅Does not use useEffect everywhere What is next?

🚨SCOOP: MY Friend at Anthropic says things are VERY tense internally. Dario's running tough meetings — GPT-5.6 Sol is strong and Grok 4.5 is right on Opus's heels. Pulling Fable from subs on July 12 would trigger mass cancellations (why keep Max for Opus 4.8?), so they're now pushing to keep Fable 5 in subs permanently.

the strangest luxury? or maybe a kind of grief of being alive right now is being able to experience culture changing dramatically right before your eyes. i.e. for most of history you lived & died inside one aesthetic, one set of manners, & maybe even one cast of characters who existed around you. whereas now trends, relationships, & entire social codes turn over in months, maybe even less. i mean you don’t need a god damn tv anymore. daily life has acquired almost all of its properties. e.g. ppl now experience themselves partly as characters, relationships as arcs, conflict as content, time as seasons, etc. we all thought that the feed was built to document reality but in its true essence it actually now teaches reality how to behave. existence itself became the content. which is kinda crazy if you ponder over it for length of time.

@sama We start flying them next year. Maybe you can come see them if your parole officer approves. After stealing an open source AI charity, you then stole all of Apple’s phone technology! Wow. What do you plan for an encore? That’s tough to beat.

there are a lot of benchmarks that suggest 5.6 sol is the best model in the world right now, but the most reliable way to tell is that elon is obsessed with me again

Generally I'm boring and invest purely in the US anyway. However, Trump's new presidency has been defined by working with industry leaders towards revamping the American economy. Incentivizing onshoring, ending the weaponization of government agencies (ie. every imaginable government agency vs. Elon Musk during Biden era). It was clear to me this was the driving force of his agenda despite the overt controversies of tariffs and war.
