@Ferrari_Power1 @GazzettaFerrari Did you read the part where they admitted to tuning down the engines? Is that not what my point was? You can go figure out whatever data point you are looking for. The FACT is, Mercedes intentionally sandbagged that entire season as to not invite FIA interference.
English

@Herroldo @GazzettaFerrari Mate I read the entire article and I didn't see a single mention of FIA running the engine on full power in their own dynos. If you'd be so kind and point that part out to me I'd really appreciate it 👍
English

🚨 | BREAKING!
Ferrari is known to believe Mercedes is holding back part of its engine's potential in order to keep Ferrari below the 2% threshold and prevent the upgrade system from kicking in.
The regulations prevent sandbagging thanks to the FIA's ability to revoke slots at its discretion, and it can also verify values at the factory through simulations on manufacturers' test benches.

@Ferrari_Power1 @GazzettaFerrari I mean did you even bother to read anything? NOPE.
English

@Herroldo @GazzettaFerrari So FIA didn't have their own dynos back then to run the engines at full power? Or FIA just blatantly chose to ignore it?
English

@SJTM33 @autosport Sorry, but these regulations are trash. Having watched this sport since the 70's, I dont find Formula Prius appealing.
English

@Herroldo @autosport Well, only if you're an idiot and haven't got the first idea of how and where to deploy sensibly. Took most of the grid half a race to figure it out.
English

"It rewards drivers who think ahead and carefully plan their next moves. That, too, is part of a driver's skill set. And that, too, is fun to watch, in my humble opinion."
F1's new regulations have clearly got off to a flawed start, but that doesn't mean you're not allowed to find joy in them - @FilipCleeren ✍️

since it’s all about your skill try securing a podium this season

Silverstone 2020: the day the fastest driver destroyed TWO fastest cars ever built: the Mercedes W11. Max Verstappen won while the W11 was over a second faster in qualifying. Max had no party mode. No DAS. Just pure driver talent and skill.
English

@YangaOnCars @__nanaos Rookie season in a torro rosso vs the GOAT of the sport in a ferrari.........amazing comparison there bro 😭
English

@SJTM33 @autosport yeah no. You have to have a 50-50 split. Garbage. Has nothing to do with a drag race. Deploy it as you want. You have basically nerf'd entry into the turns.
English

@Herroldo @autosport They are using their engine, having to decide where it's best to harvest and deploy rather than just putting their foot down and winning a drag race.
English

@SJTM33 @autosport huh? Full skillset involves not being able to use your engine even though its part of the car?
English

@autosport Spot on, it's laughable that some folk say Formula 1 is meant to be the pinnacle, then in the next breath complain that the best drivers in the world have their full skillset tested lap after lap instead of just mashing their foot down.
English

@ArkhamusJ @GazzettaFerrari I mean how is this different from the decades until I saw Schumacher win? Alonso was great during his tenure, just came up short. And they were fighting for second in the CC 2 years ago. Let's relax a bit. Hamilton's podium changes little.
English

@Herroldo @GazzettaFerrari Must've been a great year for Ferrari then! Let's take a look at the win tally, the WDC and WCC positions....... Ouch 💀💀💀
English

@JagerLatein @chartiing101 @F1HardWalls4k I was referring to the younger Rosberg who was no slouch, but wasn't Senna. I agree with your assessment 100%. Prost deserves a lot more respect than he gets.
English

@Herroldo @chartiing101 @F1HardWalls4k Prost had Lauda, Rosberg, Senna, Mansell, and Hill as teammates. No one ever faced tougher competition. And he beat them all. By today's rules, he would have beaten Senna twice.
Prost is number one. Senna knew it. Lauda knew it. Any reasonable person has to acknowledge that.
English

@Ferrari_Power1 @GazzettaFerrari You can find the interview. When MB started dominating in 2014, Paddy Lowe admitted that Toto gave direction to tone things down. They were afraid of FIA intervention.
planetf1.com/news/mercedes-…“most”%20of%20that%20season.
English

@Herroldo @GazzettaFerrari There was no point in doing that when Hamilton was at Merc tbf. ADUO wasn't a thing back then.
English

@ArkhamusJ @GazzettaFerrari 7 podiums man. Most teams on the grid would gladly take that.
English

@Herroldo @GazzettaFerrari He got podiums in 2020 and 2023 as well, doesn't make these Seasons any good for Ferrari anyway 💀💀💀
English

@Itssskylo @hi3ut @LAT3BRAKING I would say late 90's when most of the problem solving was still in the car. now that you can offload problems to the pits, what does the driver do?
English

Hamilton fans are already calling him biased but if they didn't have the attention span of a toddler they'd watch the whole thing and see that Hamilton was getting praised left and right by him in this same episode. It doesn't take anything away from what he's saying here, though

Peter Windsor destroys the new F1 regulations: 🗣️”These regs neutralized the talent of Charles and Max. If you put any one of the greats from the past in these cars, I don't think they'll be able to do anything more than Lindblad or Hadjar." 😳💀 🎥/via @Shay99087
English

@hi3ut It's biased because I don't recall Peter Windsor (nor Cameron) having such a sympathetic view towards Hamilton during the ground effect era when those regs didn't favour his late braking aggressive entry driving style.
It was 'Lewis is washed/he not as good as Leclerc/others'.
English

@GazzettaFerrari How the hell did we as TeamLH, 16s and Tifosi at large make it through the last year, absolute trenches on all front 💀💀💀💀💀
English

@CasualWheeler @LAT3BRAKING Why? Alonso showed his talent at Ferrari. Probably would have won a WDC in 2012 if not for Belgium. Ferrari regularly 3rd in the CC, yet there he was dragging it into the WDC fight.
English

@LAT3BRAKING Because they know the Schumi fans will start bringing up 2007, which is the last thing Alonso fans want
