@domdyer70 Of course, in reality… if you don’t bet there’s no sport. If there’s no sport there’s no money to home and keep these horses in the amazing way they currently are. Many will just die cold and wet in fields across the UK!

@domdyer70 @TaniaHop3 The thing is, many of the horses love to run. They aren’t just made to; the horse must want to perform, and must be in synch with his rider. Many would actually be depressed if they didn’t get the chance to race. It’s important to vet them often and watch their bone density

@LambdenRacing If you felt he was hyper, why not pull him from the race? His write up was certainly not good before the race so maybe he shouldn't have even been entered. Our horses still being whipped and tongue ties still being used?

Thank you so much to everyone for such a huge outpour of love and sympathy for us all having lost Hill Sixteen. We are all completely devastated and it will be felt on the yard for a long time. He was a wonderful gorgeous horse who was so loved and cared for by everyone. 💗🖤

@AnimalRising 1, it’s shocking you have posted this for likes 2, this is the 1st fence, I have been watching Nationals for years and have never seen so many incidents at the first few fences. These horses are tuned to the minute and I’m pretty sure your actions pre race contributed to this 🤬

Absolutely heartbreaking chaos for horses that never got a choice in the matter. MAKE SURE THE GRAND NATIONAL NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. @AnimalRising A horse would not stumble at a fence due to a race being delayed by 15 minutes. The fences are still dangerous. 3 died this w/e at Aintree - to all those condemning the protesters - what are your excuses for the other 2 and all the other horses that have died here?
