A simple question of the Attorney General revealed far more than anyone expected. His response, the people in the room, and the timing raise serious questions worth public scrutiny. Full documented investigation: statehousesecrets.substack.com/p/a-simple-que…

@jcfrosty_ @OKHouseGOP No. It’s HB3660. It’s a separate means of “reduction” that is not cremation. Literally says in between the two paragraphs that it is not for cremation. It’s is composting, so allowing humans to decompose into soil.

@Hewittreform @OKHouseGOP wait so what’s the law specifically? this part only legally defines phrases. they’re possibly planning to allow cremation (burning to ash) and introduction to soil (mixing said ashes in the soil)? that’s the only thing I’ve read here.. drugs, disease, aren’t worries. food? what?

The audacity of Rep. Dempsey to even try and pass this is disgusting. Human compost? What are we thinking. What about disease, drugs, and other things find in the human body. Now potentially in our food? And no guardrails even considered. DISGUSTING! @OKHouseGOP do better!

@Picobal11 @OKHouseGOP And we wonder why American food is so unhealthy! It’s disturbing and for our Legislature here in OK to pass this is incredulous.

@Hewittreform @OKHouseGOP They already put humanure on all our crops - so every aborted baby, every drug goes into the septic and onto our food

💥 Hey, Scott - it’s not “absurd” to want clean, reliable, abundant and dispatchable energy solutions such as natural gas, as opposed to intermittent and unreliable solutions like wind and solar. Also, “conspiracy theories” typically don’t have copious amounts of research, statistics and widespread personal testimonies to back them up. So what’s with all the head scratching?   💥 Hey, Paul - Your statement that “if we don’t take a full approach on energy, we will fall behind” sounds an awful lot like progressivism. Aren’t you supposed to be a conservative Republican State Senator? You’re right though, China will get everything they can get from renewables by being the major supplier of wind and solar materials to companies in the U.S. while simultaneously leeching off taxpayers and redistributing wealth to ESG-focused boards of directors. Oh, and by the way, there are fewer things more insulting to constituents and citizens than essentially saying they’re dumb by indicating “they don’t understand it so they don’t like it.” Thousands of people across our state fully understand what a scam green energy is. 💥 Hey, @jdunnington - you’re right about wind and solar being “cheap,” but you’re 100% wrong on your subsidies statement. Show me where the One Big Beautiful Bill has already eliminated subsidies for wind and solar…. You won’t be able to because that’s a false statement, i.e. a lie. Subsidies still exist via the socialistic Inflation Reduction Act and will continue for projects that either a) are placed in service prior to 12.31.27 OR b) begin construction before 7.4.26. In other words, subsidies only stop for those that start construction after 7.4.26 OR have construction completed after 12.31.27. 🗳️ To all the Political Animals out there, this is your mainstream media and fake Republicans in a nutshell. June 16th is just around the corner, so be sure the candidates in your area are on the RIGHT side of the “green energy” debate. Our grassroots campaign to take House District 32 two years ago should serve as an example of what can happen to those who are not.

Well would you not assert that people with the ability to critically think, would have the ability to find themselves into work? I will agree with that statement in the terms of trade schools and other similar programs. However, high school and associate level at the very least need to be creating the foundations of how to approach things, engage in dialogue, be productive in society to the extent that you are not a detriment as we see with youth today.

To the extent that we have public education funded by taxes, that education should result in education which will create more and successful taxpayers. This seems to be an appropriately “virtuous” cycle. Education that results in unemployed “thinkers” seems to be a waste of resources.

What if I told you Oklahoma that your tax dollars are being decided by Legislators that are under NDAs?

Need to clarify, the millions and billions are not in federal bids but come directly from the legislation that will open up that much money in the pipeline. Which as Senator he may potentially be voting on.

So Alan Armstrong currently has millions if not billions of dollars in federal bids and grant money. Now nominated to the Senate. It seems like Gov. Stitt has a proclivity to giving his friends positions to decide how much of YOUR money they get. #oklahoma #senate #stitt

@SmallGov4All I think this brings us to a critical juncture. Is that teaching the responsibility of the parent at home or the government?

@Hewittreform If you can’t apply that ability to think and draw conclusions in a manner that will generate economic gains for you and your family, then are you really “well educated”? I believe you need both with a bit more emphasis on financial stability.

@SmallGov4All YES! I am not sure where we got the idea that letting our government spend our future money is good fiscal policy is beyond me.

Unfortunately, I agree. Giant slush funds of “closing” or “economic development” money corrupts our society and should be eliminated. I would also argue that we should stop issuing bonds to spend future tax revenue today but should function by saving tax revenue and paying for things as we have the cash.

You and I will disagree on that portion. I think that education, as derived from Socrates was not to make robots to the workforce. It was to develop a mind that was able to critically think and draw conclusions based on available evidence. The outcomes of our youth are indicative of this decline. That is why so many lack the skills to think freely and are only robots to jobs.

@Hewittreform I’m a follower of the thought that all education is largely workforce training since life is mostly work, parenting, and home economics.

I would say no. With Hilliary specifically he is the Chief Negotiator to the Legislator. Then it just so happens that a carve out bill directly benefitting his families company is passed? I would say that is prima facia evidence, that the policies being pushed are not in the best interest of Okies.

@Hewittreform I’m a bit cynical on this issue. Maybe looking at the policies the people push is more significant. Do the policies seem to be well intentioned and likely to succeed?

Potentially. It raises a more consequential question. Should education be to create well informed members of society that are able to think for themselves, draw their own conclusions, etc? Or should it be for straight induction into the workforce? Even if he is an “expert” in Broadband, this appointment, is not in a vacuum. It is part of a larger pattern, that we have to evaluate and scrutinize.

@Hewittreform I’m not convinced that Oklahoma can claim “experts” in education given our current system performance. Cynicism aside, a strong business background can suffice since the goal of most education is to be successful economically in some fashion.

Again, you are missing the point. A donation to a candidate by a wealthy politically engaged person is not on its surface bad. What is, is what comes after. Is Oklahoma a “pay to play” state. That is what it would appear. Not only did he receive appointments so did many of his family.

Was money given to an individual like a “gift”? That would be a problem. How about being given to “solve” homelessness yet the problem persists or grows? Is that an issue in Oklahoma? Why do charities always need more money even when the economy is growing and people should be seeking more and better employment? Where is accountability for that?
