There is nothing surprising about Trump inviting Putin to the G20 summit. From ending aid to Ukraine, blocking Ukraine's membership into NATO, lifting sanctions on Russian oil, or pressuring Zelenskyy to give Donbas to Putin, Trump always sides with Putin. So, tragic. So, wrong.

This gives me new respect for Jussie Smollett. He bootstrapped his fake hate crime and paid for it himself rather than having SPLC organize and fund it for him. Support your local mom and pop hate crime hoax operations before they’re all put out of business by the big guys.

The really disturbing thing is that "regular russians" had no problem at all with russia trying to permanently destroy a neighboring country. They were only bothered when the invasion failed badly enough that shopping became expensive and they lost access to mobile internet. If the attempt to destroy Ukraine had been successful, these "brave" russians who now "dare stand up to putin" would been making TikTok videos about how to get a good deal on Ukrainan plunder.

Russians saying something has changed in society, with popular unrest finally making it past the initial fear of the "tyrants" and calling out the Putin givernment for destroying their lives and looting everything of value.

@ThatBobMadison One day the audience at Mann's Chinese, and myself, laughed at the trailer. Three months later on the opening Saturday a packed house jumped out of their seats and went bananas when Trinity said "Get up!".

JD Vance's words and actions are enough to keep me from voting for him if he's the GOP nominee. (No, X user. This doesn't mean I'm voting for the Democrat.) Anyone else?

@SouthernKeeks I’ll never vote for that slimeball. MAGA is a disease that’s close to killing its host body (the GOP). Sad times.

Dear @Cardinals, I know you have a museum display to honor your first World Series championship - that is awesome! Not sure why you didn't have a uniform patch this season. Let's hope you have a day at the ballpark to honor this team and that historic championship properly. Sincerly, Cardinal Nation
Mitchell & Ness@mitchell_ness

A Century in the Making. One hundred years ago, Baseball entered a defining chapter. The 1926 season marked a turning point for the St. Louis Cardinals, who captured their first title at the 1926 World Series, defeating the New York Yankees in a dramatic seven-game showdown. Led by player-manager Rogers Hornsby, the Cardinals combined discipline, grit, and timely hitting to secure a victory that would launch one of the most enduring legacies in Baseball history. It was an era before night games and expansion teams. Before television broadcasts and instant replay. A time when the game lived in box scores, train rides, and packed grandstands. Every out mattered. Every rally carried weight. Championships were earned through endurance, execution, and belief. That 1926 triumph didn’t just deliver a trophy. It established St. Louis as a cornerstone franchise and set the foundation for generations of Cardinals Baseball to follow. Now, a century later, we honor that moment. Featuring wool uniforms and sweaters, this is a tribute to where it all began. Do You Remember? @johnrabe I watched the local Boston feed Friday night and even they weren't as BAHston-centric and Red Sox homery as the Fox bunch.
