The NHL Alumni Association is proud to announce the creation of a new Retired Players Emergency Healthcare and Wellness Fund, a groundbreaking initiative developed in partnership with the NHL and NHLPA. Included as part of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, this fund will consist of a $4 million annual contribution, split equally between the NHL and NHLPA. The funds will be designated for two critical areas: providing emergency assistance for NHL Alumni facing catastrophic health issues with financial hardship and no insurance, and developing healthcare insurance and wellness resources to support NHL Alumni. The NHL Alumni Association extends its sincere gratitude to the NHL and NHLPA for their unwavering support and for joining our mission to "Honour The Past."
